So who got this and what do they think of it?
|
I don't actually have it, but saw multiple Vids of the game. I am in love with it. The aerial respawn is odd, and the non-destructable enviroment is disappointing, yet it doesn't bring down the quality of the game....
Can't wait for BF3? Anyone with me? |

It looks alright, but the story (for some odd reason) doesn't interest me. Although the idea is original, idk, I guess I've had enough of the mainstream FPS formulas. I'm tired of games having the same features and controls as the last one I've played. It is a great game, but I would love a super-original trend-setter, like Halo was back in the day.
I am buying BF3. No doubt. The only modern series EA has that is any good is back! :D I like the new way FPS's have been going, I love Bulletstorm, although I don't own it, and Killzone 3 improves on the great old Killzone formula in many ways. The thing I miss most about the Playstation: the PS exclusives. Sony didn't just churn 'em out, they thought about them and worked on them... sigh. |

1. Aliens- would be borrowed from Halo 2. FPS- would be borrowed from Doom 3. Game- would be borrowed from Pong That's 3 things that can be considered being copied. |
As long as they didn't copy right it, its okay.

Yes, but then there are things that could be EXPANSION packs to the original games. I didn't say "I hate people borrowing anything", I said I hate unoriginal things. Mainstream things.
After a ton of CoDs, clones, and games in similar times and settings, I want to get away from all that. I want creative things, less shooting galleries, unrealistic cartoony gore, unique weapons, innovation, all sorts of those things. Call me a progressive, I don't know, but I could never appreciate what is "current" in gaming. For as long as I was gaming, I only appreciated the brand-new things or the old things. Maybe it's just me. :P |
The story is very similar to a game called Freedom Fighters.
