Need help with a avatar letterin

I want to make my avatar a shout to my guild. WhatI am looking for is the block letter B L. I would like the B flipped backwards and the L right next to it without a space then make it look like it is on fire. Under neath it "Burning Legion".

Can anyone help me create this? If I have the steps and where to start I can usually do things (I have to have things in black and white to do them).

If there is a program that would help me do this can anyone tell me?

Thanks

Yes, Paint, Photoshop, and GIMP can help, but this needs to be in the art forum.

You can easily click this link to go to GIMP, a free program's, website.

GIMP can do almost as much as Photoshop, you just have to know how to use the program to figure out its great secrets.

You may also have to install GTK Runtime to install the program, click here to get to that page.

(The links were allowed in TTC, so they should be allowed here.)

Yes, try GIMP. Also, this is a PG site if I can remember, TTC was G. I'm sure the link would work here.

OK. Got my pic made in MSPaint. Have it in my signature. Downloaded GIMP and have no idea how to use it. Hmmmm...guess that is the next step.

GIMP isn't so hard once you get the hang of it.

Try experimenting with it; it make some pretty cool things.

Yes, it may look a little hard at first but you will produce some really cool pictures.

Wait a second, so all you want now is, you want it in the size of an avatar? I'm not sure if GIMP can do that but you can try. If not I can resize it for you in 5 mins tops.

Heres a small one ( in animated GiF format)
If you want it bigger, I have it, but it is closer to 200k)

OutlawZ 12-09-2007 11:22 PM

OutlawZ 12-10-2007 12:24 AM

Okay...I see...
the limit for sig image is only 19k

I can' t get this animated GiF down to that size
without making it really small and reducing the colours.

attached is 16k file...use it for your avatar

So I guess you will just have to use the static image for the Sig.
Sorry
