Poker Gold Bug

This is a bug/glitch that I experienced myself today where I was able to pay blinds/call/bet without using my own gold and able to win pots as well to recieve the gold. You know you have it when you see your toon not play any animations when the cards go out, or when you bet/call/blind. Point is, I reported the bug because I want them to take a serious view on poker, and hopefully change it for the better. I have no interest in cheating or anything else in poker. I also remember losing 5k to a guy who told me he wasn't using up any of his gold, that his gold was bugged. So this really ticks me off. They need to fix it, as cool as it may sound to most of you, it isn't because it isnt a purposeful glitch. Anyways, this is the message I recieved back...

How did I get called a "Guest" for one thing? I signed my name with what I wrote.. Also is this what other people get when they send in bug reports? Because this message seems like a big oh well to me, like they don't care at all.

So then am I to assume that this is the kind of service I am going to recieve from this game for months and months? What a way to treat customers whom pay $200 a year to play a virtual game thats not even completely finished. Why not remove the bug report button? Obviously whoever said that we are paying to be beta testers is right, except that they don't listen to a lot of the reports that go in.

Let me take the time to point this out to you okay.

You got that message as an auto respond letting you know that they received your bug report. Everyone is considered a Guest, and unless your a Developer, you deserve no special title, even if you did sign your bug report with LORD UBERDARKNESS, everyone gets the generic "Dear Pirates of the Caribbean Online Guest:" If you think you are somewhat of greater importance than a guest, take it up with them directly.

Now lets say 100 or so people have sent in this very exact same bug, would you all expect personal hand typed emails thanking your for your time and bug reporting skills?

The time they spend replying to bugs that get reported would be time that could be spent working on fixing the actual bugs.

That automated email is to get more information that you probably didn't send the first time.

It would be safe to say, they get a slew of bugs reports in that they cant do anything with due to lacking information. If they need more information, they will contact you.

If by sending a bug report in you are thinking your name will get posted in the game credits and get a full written reply as to how much they appreciate your bugreporting skills and their 10 point plan on how they are combating fixing your experience, think again.

No I don't expect a hand written form, and actually for some games (professional at least) they do respond back with at least a little hand written material. Anyways, I expect an automated message that will assure me that they will acknowledge my report, I didn't know from this message whether they were ignoring it or if this is simply what everyone gets. This paragraph they automate seems like they are saying that you did something wrong in the bug report and need to resend one in, at least to me. Maybe I am retarded though, you tell me. =) I also assumed it could mean that they ignored my report altogether.

By the way, honestly this game doesn't need a bunch of "knights in shining armor" to come to it's rescue, they need to step their game up, literally. I am aware it cannot happen overnight and the game just came out. Someone may reply to me saying that if I don't like it, leave.. Who said I didn't like it? I am merely complaining, you have never complained about something that couldn't be helped entirely yet? If you haven't, consider yourself beyond human. =) Anyways, its obvious that games have A LOT of different issues at launch, and need fixes and cooperation. I personally have been apart of one other RPG game at launch, and it wasn't as bad as this. I still enjoy playing this game so much and think it has great potential, just needs quite a bit of work before its full grace reveals itself. Right now it is just unfinished, a project I would call it. I mean the only ways to make gold is to sail/kill/poker, player economy should be presented soon I think.

This "unlimited gold in poker" bug already exist since beta.
The "not cool" side is that you can't play blackjack anymore.
Thus you can't complete those "win at blackjack" quests. Your quest
will stop there and no chance to finish the black pearl quest.
I've dumped my pirate in beta because of this.

But when i report it again a few days ago, i got a reply that said the fix
for this bug will be included in the future update and that they still
working on it.

Sigh* Yep, just got the bug today on open. I have already had it on my test pirate for over a month and no, they did not fix it. I do not need the gold, do not need to cheat, and this should have been fixed long ago. It is directly tied to blackjack as I immediately noticed it was not taking my gold away at poker, so I switched right away to blackjack, and yep, it wouldn't let me play.

I am tired of these same bugs that should have been fixed prior to release.
