connecting???

Has anybody had any trouble connecting to POTCO??? I'll be playing along nicely, log out for a bit of lunch and when I come back to try and log on, after the connecting box and a pause I get the message 'cannot connect to gameserver.pirates online.com:7667. It's soooooooooo frustrating!! I also get the same thing if I try test account at the same time. Yet the next day it'll be back to normal. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

i have the same problem some times...not all the time.

A couple of quick questions -

1. can you access google etc okay?

2. have you rebooted your router or modem? they sometimes need to be set to keep the conection allive as some will drop the internet connection if not in use.

3. do you use a firewall ?

4, if all else fails have you rebooted your computer ?

Does anyone know what it means when everytime I log in to play piratesonline it says my connection to server has been unexpectently broken? It says it everytime I start creating a pirate. Is there anything I can do to fix the problem?
