Good items for people who were stripped of theirs?
 

Okay, I'm going to say it plain and simple. I am seriously annoyed. I haven't played for about a year, because my computer broke down, and I had to save for a new one.

So what do I find, as soon as I log into Pirates Online?

They've stripped me of most of my items.

Yeah, my shirts, vests, tricorn. They're all gone. Because they robbed free people of a bunch of their items and went "Hahaha, pay us now".

That being said,

Are there any good places to go, where I can buy some half decent clothing for FREE players?

Free players? Well, you're limited, but go and camp out at General Darkhart on Padres Del Fuego for a few hours and you should find some nice crude clothes that a basic can wear. The really nice clothes are UA only, but you can still find some nice crude ones for yourself.

^ Aye what Davy said. I have picked up a lot of nice clothing items from there. Maybe most were for Unlimited Access members, but I am sure you could still get couple. If you still can't get any buy Unlimited Access again! :laughks2:

Also, you could try PR Graveyard..... haha, actually, I have gotten a few nice clothes from there!

So, you're saying I just stand around for hours and wait for clothes to magically appear?

No, you loot for hours and hours. Might even get a nice weapon or two....

Jack, if you weren't playing for a year and turned basic, its not there fault that you lost em.

Besides, the game is now filled with updates that weren't here a year ago.

There's also the ability to actually buy things. Basics do have the ability to look decent now.

Your lost of clothing was more than likely due to the Inventory update, where pirates who didn't log on found that they had lost everything that they had. This was, however, temporary - as soon as they logged on, everything was back. Are you sure it wasn't just this bug?

In any case, it's very simple to get clothes and weaponry, as others have stated. Simply head to a boss (like Darkhart on the back of PDF) and chop away at him for a while. Even only an hour should get you some decent stuff. And, yes, basics are even able to reclaim some clothing.

I would also suggest contacting Disney on the matter. Ranting here won't do much, while telling Disney may get them to do something.

I still have my items, but I lost them in the sense that I cannot wear them, as I am Basic Access. I feel it is ridiculous that they'd take items from people who play for free.

Try live chat. Maybe they have a explanation.

They need to make money mate. It's not fair to get mad at them for making a living. You have to balance it out so basics would be unhappy with what they have and want to get more, but make it so they don't wanna leave the game.

Sorry, but you've been DisOwned. You either pay or you don't get to wear your clothing.

Don't worry; Paying means you get to give the POTCO team more money for their daily pizzas and soda instead of making the kraken or the other wide assortments of lovely updates they promised us 3 years ago.

Its really hard to make a game. My friend made a simple game were you doge the asteroids for 15 seconds. it took him a WEEK to make one level. imagine how much it takes to make POTCO. It's defiantly NOT cheap. I'm sure they have their reasons. if POTCO didn't like its players or what ever would we have infamy, Ravens cove, Cave of losts souls, Isla Tormenta etc.

I think that after POTCO 4 its going to boom like crazy, Maybe we can get the kraken, or whatever. I used to think that they were lazy, so i started a thread about it. It chaged my mind, you should check it out to.
