True Friend Code HELP!
 

I read about "true friend codes" on the offical PotC website, followed their directions and was unable to actually generate a code. I thought it was probably a feature that was removed during beta until I stumbled across a loading screen that was referencing the "true friend code." Has anyone been able to get this to work and if so... PLEASE! tell me how.

what is a true friend code??

On page 9 of the players guide it says:

"Making True Friends
If your chat setting is Limited or Unlimited True Friends, only people you've exchanged a True Friends Code with can see your chat messages. True Friends can only be made between people that also know each other in the real world.

Creating a True Friend Code
To create a True Friends Code, open your Friends Panel and click on the True Friend Code button. If your chat setting is Limited True Friends, your family's administrator will be asked to log in at this point. If your chat setting is Unlimited True Friends, your family's administrator will not need to log in. Write down the True Friends Code given to you by the game and pass it along to the person in the real world you want to make True Friends with.

Using a True Friends Code
If you've been given a True Friend Code by someone you know in the real world, open your Friends Panel, click on Friends, then choose Use Friend Codes. If your chat setting is Limited True Friends, your family's administrator will be asked to log in at this point. If your chat setting is Unlimited True Friends, your family's administrator will not need to log in.

Next, enter the True Friend Code you've been given. The name of your new True Friend will appear on your Friends Panel, your name will appear on theirs, and you will now be able to chat with each other using your keyboard."
