gvhjbdfbhfdbufdvhbdfgh *points to title* anyway, i looked all over tortuga for the dumb personel effects, i even ran through the rats nest to get it, but all it say is "no quest items found" daggnabit, is it random? i havent looked in caves, is there a certain spot?:zu02zq::smiley-channel.de_g:banghead:

Which personal effects are you looking for - Scarlett or Bowdesh? I found Scarlett right in front of Hendry. I found Bowdesh between Jail and the enterence to Misty Mire. Good luck!

If you're looking for the one's that are a part of Gunner's quest, the clue says they are buried behind a house in Tortuga.

Look along the back side of the brick wall that goes around the town. It's pretty easy to find from there.

Ah - yet another personal effects. I'm on this one right now. Searched all over tortuga for this and didn't find it. Thanks for the help! :)

I cant seem to find this dig spot to tortuga. I've been to all the dig spots i know of and cant find it. anyone have any idea where i might be able to find this one?
Its for the 25 year old rum quest for joshmee gibbs.

I have found that, if you dig and it searches but says, "no items found" (or something similar), that if you continue to dig in that spot it will eventually give up the item. The same holds true for the rum on rumrunners that you have to dig up.

A couple of places on tortuga that aren't as well known are the spot on the hill to the right of the Graveyard entrance, and one near the swamp to the left of the island.

Tortuga is rife with dig spots (which can make it difficult to find the right one). Without even going into the jungle we have:

• In front of Hendry Cutts, the woodcutter
• Hendry's pig pen
• Between the jail and Misty Mire entrance
• The grassy hill across from Fabiola
• The grassy slope near Butcher Brown
• The area outside the town walls, directly behind the Faithful Bride Tavern

That last one proved to be the most beneficial to me, holding the items for several of the quests. YMMV.
