the black pearl quest
 

I am a little frustrated. I have the black pearl quest and I'm supposed to recruit crew members then track down James Pidgeley (which I know is Carver). How many crew members do I need to recruit before I complete this quest? Does that part need to complete before I can go to Carver?

Also, where can I find other good quests? Thanks for any help!

ahoy there, The entire quest is just based on gathering crew! the ENTIE thing. So all your doing in the bp quest is gathering 9 crew for the pearl. Take it from a first hand accomplice, just today I sucessfull stole the pearl from the royal navy. The second quest is unavailable, so I'm probably just gonna level up or somthing or get some gold.

Thanks for your reply! 9 crew members??? I had trouble finding 4 and then when I docked, they all disappeared. ARGH.

Now, where do I find GOOD quests?

After you get the first 5 crew members, you have to do a second list, which is harder than the first.

Hahah yea, a lot of endurance/patience is involved in the second list. If you thought Greer's quest was annoying...think again ;)

I think you might be misunderstanding. That is the "good" quest. The crew members you have to recruit for the Black Pearl quest(s) are not other players in the game. The quest itself will send you to the people you need to see and "recruit." In other words, you will be recruting the (fake) members as you complete the quests.

If I'm misunderstanding you, and you already knew that, then I apologize.

There are other quests for teleportation and valuables that will show up in your journal for you to complete at various levels of notoriety. You can also find some quests for extra gold, cheat cards, and notoriety points from some of the NPC players on Port Royal.

Yes, if you think Greer's debt was hard... wait till Gunner. :tg21:
