Cursed Blades - reducing famed for basics?
 

I'm just wondering, if your basic who have not done raven cove quest, so therefore, cannot find cursed blades, if you go loot at tormenta or raven cove, will the chance of famed decrease ?

I think that Disney slightly favors Unlimited access users. So, therefore, I believe that the answer is yes, being basic DOES decrease your chances of getting famed/legendary weapons.

Well, let's think about it like this. Basic without El Patron quest means less variety of weapons, yes? However, you still have about the same chance of getting famed/legendary. You just won't use it. With the Patron quest, the variety is added to. That doesn't necessarily make the proportions bigger, because there's also rare and (I'm not sure, I haven't done the quest) common cursed blades. So the proportion balances out. The variety just gets bigger.

I'm really hoping what I just said made sense. haha

I would imagine that the chance to find famed is a constant variable, with access type not really being a factor. If anything, the chance of getting a famed/legendary would INCREASE for basics, as encouragement to get full access.

There are no common cursed blades.


Also, if you have NOT done the Raven's Cove quest, then you cannot receive cursed blades.

I've found more Famed items as a basic than unlimited.

I think you guys are misunderstanding me, famed chance for normal famed should be the same, but what about the factor of cursed blades being added in? if I loot at places like tormenta and raven cove. When a curse blade famed show up, I would not be able to see/get it.
ex.
Lame drops x 49
Famed cursed Blade x 1 ( I would miss)
lame drops x 46
Normal Famed ( I can get)
So If I was unlimtied and did quest, I would get famed after 49 lame drops, If I was basic, I would need to loot 95 enemies to get famed.
So my chances of famed would decrease from 1/49 to 1/95 (since I wouldn't know when famed drops, so I might leave etc.

lol sent an e-mail to disney, I clearly stated I understand I cannot find cursed blades but was wondering if the chance of famed would decrease in tormenta/rc. He answered with unfortunately, you cannot find cursed blades. Wow... that's completely irrelevent to what I was asking -_-
