Due to upcoming planned maintenance, Pirates Online will be taking outages on the following days and times:

February 1, 2011 - 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM Pacific Time/Los Angeles. Pirates Online will be unavailable.

February 2, 2011 - 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM Pacific Time/Los Angeles. Pirates Online will be unavailable.

February 2, 2011 - 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM Pacific Times/Los Angeles. Pirates Online will be available during this time but may experience intermittent connectivity issues.

February 7, 2011 - 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM Pacific Time/Los Angeles. Pirates Online will be unavailable.

I seriously hope they upgrade and/or fix their servers. The disconnection issues are ridiculous.

5:00 EST. That means they're adding the peddlers clothes for February.

Pretty strange they work on the game like after midnight. They must drink lots of coffee! And yes I hope they fix some major things.

I think they work late at night to make sure people aren't playing the game. In theory, people should be sleeping when they are working. I hope they add some new features along with adding the new clothing.

Looks like the Admins posted it on the notice board. Its a good thing this isnt during the day.

Don't get your hopes up, mates.

Often, Disney does these maintenances, for the sole purpose of maintenancing. It is usually a rare event when Disney updates the game while they do maintenance. The most I expect them to do content-wise, is add the February outfit for Peddlers.

On the lighter side of the keel, it is likely Disney is doing this to prepare for their major overhaul of PvP and SvS (which comes with Infamy.) So, it's not like this is at a complete loss of content interest.

Aye, I also don't think much new content will come from these maintenances. However, we should keep our eyes peeled for new structures in game. Remember when SvS first came out? Two brand new islands sitting there with nothing to do on them. Hoping for something like that to give me hope.

I bet they will also add a Valentines Day outfit to buy from the Peddlers

You kiddin' me? Thats just wrong if they add the ACTUAL Valentine's day shirt to the peddlers cause before, you had to work to get that! :degen:

Machazzard is right. They could easily add a few structures in the game without any purpose. Like what they did with Kingshead. They added two new buildings that you can't go inside of a while back, same time they took away the secret dock.

Probably they will throw in the February clothes, but it is probably just some little server updates, maybe some bug fixes, etc.

The February clothes are already in though. Maybe, just maybe they could put out infamy on test or something, although I think I recall them saying it won't come out until March. Anyways, probably just some small things....
