Yet Another List Of Suggestions!

More suggestions..

1) Ship Accessible Areas: See those little doors that are on war ships? I’ve always wanted the ability to enter them; serving as a place for guild meetings, or any other kind of use.

2) Color Wheel: As an extent to my past suggestions with a color wheel- any kind of item you can buy that you are able to change color of, including but not limited to hair color, clothing color, etc, should have a color wheel to have exact colors to a certain extent.

3) Cuba Clothing Quest: As all other main ports have clothing quests (excluding Raven’s Cove), Cuba should have their own unique clothing fortune quest as well.

4)SVS Reputation Points: This is a bit debatable; but you know how you get an amount of rep from a loot drop (the “Treasure” loot-drops), based off their gold amount? When you sink a high bounty ship in SVS, you gain a small amount (or large amount) of gold. I believe that like the “Treasure” loot drops, these should give a 50% less amount of rep than the amount of gold dropped.

5)Guild Name Filters: One thing I find extremely disappointing is the fact Disney will accept copied names of original guild names; in example, “<insert guild name here> 2” or a different spelling of the name. This is a form of violation of copyright and also can be used as fraud; it causes troubles for guilds and other type of guild-related issues .

6) Weapon Quest Removal: To older members of this game, this is obviously debatable. However, after the addition of the loot system, these weapon quests have become tedious and grueling when you are just able to loot a more efficient weapon at a lower level. I think a fix to this small issue is simply adding the option to drop this quest, like you may with fortune quests.

..And that’s about it. For now. :)

I like them! They sound good. Especially the Guild Name Filters. I swear, if I ever see a Shadow Sorcerors 2, or Shadow Sorcerers, without them being directly connected with my guild, I will go nuts. As for your Cuba Clothing Quest... first we need more inventory space ;)

Love it! especially the guild names. i think someone made a MIS jr. and i swear, if i ever catch them i will personally dress them up in a milk bone suit and hand them over to dog's guild.

idk about the guild thing.... some guilds lose their gm, so a new guild is named with a similar name.

I guess the Guild Filter ideas depends in that case Cannonfury, but maybe before doing so they have to verify with Disney or something. Other than that, your ideas are great :D

Once again, fantastic ideas. :] The weapon quest removal would have my full support. With the weapons updates, the classic weapons quests are just a waste of space in our journals; we're better off without.

The guild name filter... this is debatable, because, like Cannonfury said, the guild bearing the similar name could be just a second generation of the first guild. If we had that implemented while Partners N Crime was being made for example... well, I already know that Del had a very difficult time coming up with a name; trying to name a second generation guild that you would want people to know is a continuation of the first would make the guild-naming process ten times harder.

On the other hand, there are thousands of guilds undoubtedly that copy a guild because they want people to THINK they're a continuation; they want to ruin the original guild's image, etc. This just leads to much more turmoil and drama than would be experienced if there was a filter.

Overall, unless there could be a work-around of the legitimate guild continuations, I'm against it.

Simple solution... if it works, which it may not.

New report category. You can go to the report function in a player's profile card, and there will be a new option that will be something like "Plagiarized Guild Name". This will be sent to Disney, where they will contact the guildmaster of the original guild (finding the original guild may be confusing, so they will have to find the original one. Maybe the oldest or most active one). If the guildmaster says its okay, then life goes on. If the guildmaster says that this person copied, then an email is sent to the founder of the copy-cat guild saying that they have copied another guild name without the consensus of the original guildmaster. The guild can stay, but the name is taken away and must be reset.

I know, it may be faulty and probably won't work, but it may...

I like The color wheel! Very... WONDERFUL! but That is very tedious for the game creators...

I don't see why not. In most cases, this seems to be a perfectly reasonable solution. The only situation (It's a rare one, but it happened to pop in my head, so bear with me.) that would make this difficult would be if the GM was to disband the guild and would NOT want the guild to be continued. If someone was to create a guild with a similar name because "Oh! They're gone; we can use their name now. Yay!" (Beings they're probably amateurs who the original GM wouldn't want duplicating his or her guild), then, there could be a problem.

If the GM disbands because they left the game for good, or they were just tired of the guild, chances are, they probably won't care. But if the GM felt that a lot of work was put into the guild/the name has a lot of meaning/the guild name would still be boasted on a different game/whatever, then I guess they could plea plagiarism.

Here's where the real problem comes in: Would Disney actually accept the accusation? Technically, they're not in charge of the guild; they don't have the same influence over the name (in that game at least) as they did before when they were ACTUALLY leader. Not actually having the guild means no entitlement; anyone's free to use the guild name at will.

It's sad when someone resorts to using a guild name that's not their own, even if the guild is dead and gone (Not the song), but who could stop them if the guild IS gone?
