Feats of Strength: Weekend #1 Wrap-Up
January 25, 2011

A full slate of competitors participated in what turned out to be another great event. Pirates flexed their brawn as well as their brains to compete with each other in speed, skill and puzzle solving. A few were slowed up by enemies along the way while others were left scratching their heads. Win or lose, one thing is for certain - you are all adventurers worthy of the name Pirate!

Thanks to everyone for participating and for those great friends who joined to cheer on their mates. A special mention goes to all those Pirates who placed first in their races. They proved to be strong and savvy all at the same time ... kudos! A special honorable mention goes out to Redbeard who dedicates his victory to Johnny Darkbones.

Pirates are welcoming everyone back for Weekend #2 beginning Friday, January 28 - Sunday, January 30, 2011. There's always a need for some strong alternates and a GM just might pick YOU from the crowd!

Funny story, actually.

I was the first person to reach the ghost GM (Constance Sorrow!) in my race, so I guess that's why they put me up. The thing is, the second GM we had to find left before we got a chance to find him! (I took a minute to ask Captain Xavier at his next race about the subject.)

Of course, we, the racers, were never informed, leaving us running through the swamps over and over for half an hour screaming our phrase.

But still, coolio :cool:

Agreement. In my opinion, they should've put all competitors and what place they finished in.

Del that was a very frustrating hard race, mate and congratulations to Henry Calicomorgan, Pretty Polly, and Speedy ( which is quite speedy ). I was glad to meet the GM's and be an alternate in the race. I made it tis third place. :pirate2:

And I agree, it's not all about the 1st place; the other places deserve recognition too.

:o man i hope the next snow im getting doesn't knock the power out , that would be horrible i compete friday -_-

Congrats to everyone. I won as Shadow, although they forgot the The in The Guardians. I also glowed level 50 in front of a GM which was neat.
