April Fools Idea
 

Yes, I am thinking quite ahead aren't I?

Anyway, I've had this on my mind for a while. It would be something funny that POTCO could do every first week of April. Nobody would really gain anything from it, but it would be for grins.

The idea would be that "April Fools Voodoo" or something along those lines, has possessed all the weapons in the Caribbean. So basically, all your weapons would look like these.

Swords: A short, wooden sword. Like the toy ones you see in cartoons when kids play pirate.

Guns: Since all guns look different, they would just look a lot more cartoony, and when you fire, a big comic blurb saying "BANG!" or "KABOOM!" will appear for a second when you fire.

Dolls: You voodoo dolls are turned into Barbie Dolls and Action Figures.

Dagger: How well can you fight with a butterknife?

Grenades: The grenades would all be really big and cartoony, with a little string that lights (but never makes it explode). When they land, a comic blurb comes up saying "KABOOM!"

Staff: A mystical tree branch. Complete with little twigs and leaves!

The damage that your weapon does will be unaffected. And in your inventory it will still say the actual name, just when you pull it out it will look different.

Maybe they could also change up the way some enemies look, to make them a bit goofy.

Anyway, it wouldn't really even be an update. Just something they could do around a holiday for the fun of it. Tell me what you think. :)

Could happen. I remember ClubPenguin had a glitch loading screen you can walk around for April Fools.

Would be funny if Pirates just made an infinite loading screen like when you logged on but it never ends. Quite a trick.

I say the grenades should be one of those peanut brittle cans, would be pretty cool to ask the enemy to open it up for you, no? :D

Lol, good ideas, although it might look hard to see sometimes, like with the voodoo dolls. You might not be able to see them clearly, but anyways, it is a good idea :)

My loading screens already do that, and it's only January. =P

But seriously, I love the April Fools idea. Wish they'd do something like that to spice up gameplay just a little from time to time.

Emailed them... I actually am quite happy with the response I got. Maybe they will do it. Here is the reply I got. I sent pretty much the same thing as I posted, so I won't show it.
