Join Elite Core! Instantly become an officer! (Details Inside)

Join using this code: WSEC2985

Elite Core is a brand new guild! Members are very helpful! Currently only me, but to help gain members, I have this special offer going on:

Starting today, for the next 3 days, all new members will be promoted to Officer, regardless of level.
3 days after that, all new members will be promoted to Veteran.
After that, all other members will have to earn their promotion.

These are the Laws of the Guild:

Promotions:
Once a member becomes level 30, he or she will be promoted to Veteran. I may need to be informed, so let me know! If you join at or above level 30, you will be promoted to Veteran.

That is not the only way to become Veteran. To become Veteran by other means you must have been a member for at least a week. If you show you are a worthy Veteran, I will promote you.

To become Officer you must have been a Veteran for 2 weeks. If you show you are worthy of Officer, you will be promoted.

Except in special offer mentioned above, you can not skip promotions. You must become Veteran before officer.

Becoming Guildmaster: In the event that I am unable to remain Guildmaster, I will pick one person of any rank to take my place.

Demotions:
Promotions are not permanent, and if I feel you do not deserve a certain rank, you will be demoted. Demotions are down to member for both officers and veterans.

Rules:

Breaking these rules can cause demotion or being kicked from guild.

All veterans and officers (unless afk) are required to greet others when they come online.

Nobody is allowed to kick others from the group without consulting me.

Nobody is allowed to re-invite someone to the group that was previously kicked by me without my permission.

This is rare: If I require all members, Vets, and Officers to teleport to me, you must do so. If you are unable to, "In a pvp, on a ship with a lot of loot, afk" let me know. I am reasonable. I will give at least 5 minutes after warning. Once again, this is rare, I will NOT do it only to help me.

No inappropriate language.

No disrespect to others.

No abusing officer or veteran privileges.

Joining:

It is not required, but it is recommended that you are experienced.
By joining you accept The Laws of the Guild
Join using this code: WSEC2985

We really look forward to having you aboard the "Elite Core"!
Join today!

Good luck with yer guild! But I dont think it's wise to post a guild code, could cause drama.

Well, when you publically distribute unlimited guild invitations, that's just it. It grants anyone unlimited access to your guild. Someone who wants to join your guild to cause issues (i.e. drama, eject some members [Especially with the offer you have going, anyone who wanted to crash the guild 5 people at a time would have a field day.] etc.) The best way to recruit is to avoid publically giving away a code. Rather, for a more peaceful, less risky guild roster, guilding people based on personal assessment by the one recruiting is the best road to take. That way, you'll know upfront whether they're cut out to join before they join, rather than taking the chance of discovering an ugly truth after they join.

I wish you the best of luck with your guild, though. :)

Mate, you might not want to promote every person who joins to officer. Also, guests can view that code and could spam your guild.

Came across this message. Kind of curious how it worked out...

Rulerdude, you seem to have this organized pretty well but I caution you to be very very careful with this officer promotion remember that officers have an eject ability and shady characters could sneak in to your guild an destroy it right under your nose. I would never suggest promoting every new member to officer... many guilds fail because they do that and if they don't fail, the become full of drama causers and grievers. (you don't want that)

also as said above you should not post unlimited guild codes. It's just not a wise thing to do.

one more little thing.... In my opinion it's really not fair to put a level requirement on veterans some of the best candidates to be officers are at lower levels than 30
because their main pirates are in other guilds. Level means almost nothing when it comes to running or being an officer in a guild what matters then is the person behind the pirate. If they are worthy of being an officer their level means nothing! But in the end it's up to you... your guild your rules.

having said all of that... I wish you the best of luck with your guild and I hope that it prospers!

Aye, I agree, posting guild codes could cause drama - read what the members who have posted above me have said. If a member joins the forums with that code, and you promoted him to Officer, he can eject members ya know. But you have this guild set up nicely and I wish you good luck. :D

Tiberius Fireskull 04-13-2011 12:14 AM

Well, I won't repeat what others have said, but yes, don't post guild codes. Bad people will sneak in and when you kick them out, they'll just come back in. You could regret this choice, mate.

Good luck with the guild, though.

I wish you the best of luck to your guild. I believe you should listen to the people above, their words have wisdom.
