Move pirate to new account
 

Hmmm.... Does anyone know if I can do this?:xhuh: I'd like to move one of my four pirates (on one of my accounts) to a new account. Businesswise it seems like this would be profitable as it would double the revenue from me. I've tried looking it many times, on this forum included, and have gotten nowhere.:xcry:

Any thoughts fellow pirates?

You have to call Disney. I did it sometime ago to help my kids shift theirs so we could play together after they dropped the linking option. They are happy to help.

Disney will help if you have a good enough reason. I was denied copying Tom O'fury so i could place him in another guild which i sorta figured but it was worth a try eh?

You can go on live chat and ask them. That's what I did a few months back, and, depending on who you get, they will be more than willing, haha.

what are their requirements to transfer?

If my mind does not fail me, they need to know the emails and usernames of both accounts, the name both accounts are under, and credit card #'s for unlimited accounts, just to clarify that you are the right person. Also... I know there was something else, but I can't quite remember. It's rather simple, to be honest...despite the long wait for live chat.

Ya I've moved pirates around about 3 or 4x since I've played POTCO for the last 2.5 years. Long time ago, you could do it via Live Chat, then they made u call in, then they allowed u to do it via Live Chat again. When I transferred a pirate earlier this summer, before you go into Live Chat with them, it gives you a list of reasons why you're doing the whole Live Chat thing with them, and one of the options is "Transfer Pirate" so you hit that option, and then whoever that talks to you will ask you for the first & last names & bdays on both accts, the last 4 numbers of the credit cards used, when the last billing date was/or when the acct expires (i can't remember which) & then the reason why u wanna transfer, and that's it.

Fellow pirates... (Angel, Crestshot, Tom, and Eliza) ... Thank you all for your outstanding help and thoughts. So there's hope - how awesome. I've been wondering about this for over a year. My wife, and son play too, so they'll be super excited to see me playing with them now. Woohoo!
