Considering coming back...

Hey guys, since I now have some time off of college work and all that, I've been considering re-joining PotCO again after nearly a years break. But I have a few questions that I'd like to ask first. (if this is in the wrong section I apologize, but I couldn't find one more suitable for this topic)

1.) Is it worth coming back? I'm lv 37 Notoriety or somewhere along those lines, so I'm far from being done with leveling and I haven't finished the quests yet. The main problem I had, however, was a lack of interesting things to do. So in your personal opinions, is the game worth spending another $10 of my musty stockpile to play?

2.) Are there plenty of people to play with? I don't want to spend hours looking for a crew to hunt down flagships, and training alone can get rather boring. So plenty of talkative people online would be a definite plus.

3.) ...err, for some reason I thought I had more...No matter, I'll post em later if i do.

May the winds be at yer backs mateys,

First off, welcome back.... sorta :)

1.) If you haven't played in a year, be prepared to return to a game with a stock pile of new updates. In short, mini-games, an inventory system, hundreds of clothing drops and weapons, a new island, some new major quests, and more, just to name a few.

However, don't let us make the decision for you. I suggest heading in game, Basic, and snoop around to see if you might like what you see. That way, you can make a better judgement for yourself. (But in my personal opinion, go for it.)

2.) In terms of people in game, there are definately a lot more players playing now than in the past. If you're on an ideal server, I can guarentee you you'll find at least a few crews up and ready.

However, I really suggest trying to go plundering/training/looting/questing with your friends and/or guild. Unfortunately, seeing as you've been inactive for some time, it's more than likely that your guild is inactive, and your friends are long gone. Now, if that's not true, that's perfect.

If they are dead and gone, however, I would suggest looking around the forums for some people's to crew up with. We're all pretty much willing to help and meet up with each other in game. Plus, we don't bite... much ;)

Just holler if you need any more input. Happy Re-Pirating, mate! :buds:

I've wandered around a bit in-game and I must say that it does look quite interesting. And sadly, my guild is pretty much dead, and I think my friends list has more barnacles than active players now. Guess I'll look around a little more to see what's what, but I think I will be joining back up; if only for a little while =).

Thanks for the input,
~TheBlastMage
