Background noise
 

Everytime I go to Tormenta or into the forests and I leave there the background noise is still running how can I stop it without logging out and logging back in?

Cave Dripping and Jungle Bird background sound effects can be turned off by muting and unmuting the Game Sound (Not Music). Should get rid of the dripping and birds.

I have never had this problem, but I have had a problem where I was running, but when I stopped...I could still hear the stepping sounds..it was annoying so I turned ALL sounds off completely and never turned it on again....this was like 2 years ago

There's another way to turn off the sound while in the area, if you want.
Put the game into windowed mode, press the Restore Down button on the window (that button to the left of the Myserious Red X) and then reopen it. Sound should be gone.
