Coin flip ban

Yep, I was on Abassa today and people who were doing the coin flip to people were getting a knockout and a ban. Lot's of rumors, so I suggest avoiding people when doing the coin flip, they will get a knockout and a ban supposedly. (I saw the knockout, not the ban) Maybe there's a secret GM on Abassa or something. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Thats strange... are you sure? Because that is really odd for Disney to do. I would complain to them, because that is not right.

Slouyx 12-04-2010 10:22 PM

Trust me, they did this a few months ago. People on Abassa Tortuga kept getting knocked out, sometimes for a reason and sometimes for no reason, and if you got knocked out more than twice, you got a disconnection message saying "A ban has been placed on your account" and such. It's not a rumor, it did happen. There was of course, people making accounts and going on Abassa just to get knocked out, or people trying to get knocked out and banned in the first place. And yet, the GM's even knocked out AFK people, or people who were honestly just sitting back and watching the chat. You couldn't see the GM's and they weren't talking; but you'd get knocked out and get sent to jail straight away. Is it something to complain to Disney for? Not exactly, if you were one of the people who was trying to get banned, but definitely if you were one of the "AFK" people who came back to see your pirate in jail and a message saying "a violation on your account has been found." They are doing this most likely because of people doing the "inappropriate coin flip" action on Abassa. However, if they are going to remove this feature anyway, there's no need to make an "attack" on people on the game-especially those were most likely coin-flipping AFK.

Apparently Disney can change their rules whenever they want to...

Captain Jason 12-04-2010 10:30 PM

The GM is gone for now, someone just tested it, nobody even knows who though still, I'm only staying on Abassa to stay caught up on the news.

And Slouyx, I didn't hear about that, but I did see someone just running by getting an instant jail. No reaosn at all too.

This is true. My guildmate on that attack a rage ghost thing, she kept getting knocked out. Then got banned. But for coin flipping? Why? Makes me laugh at the ones at Abassa who think there cool getting sent to jail.

Captain Sharktooth 12-04-2010 10:59 PM

Wow, I wonder why they would do that? Let us celebrate the amazing emote known as the coin flip while we still have it!

Tiberius Fireskull 12-04-2010 10:59 PM

I say we all go on a quiet server, start a coin flip, and then see what they do.... :P

Captain Jason 12-04-2010 11:02 PM

What if a Captain Walter's Ghost just came online and banned us all? I say we do it! :P I agree with Captain Sharktooth too...

The coin flip has recently been used as a BAD thing which is not to be explained... It is going to be removed next update it is already no longer on test. People that are getting knocked out are probably doing this BAD thing while flipping a coin. and Disney Moderators are always watching....

Player 12-05-2010 12:33 AM

I dont understand why is it getting banned?

Tiberius Fireskull 12-05-2010 01:12 AM

Wait, what is this BAD thing that you keep talking about Tom? What can be bad about coin flipping?

SEAKING23 12-05-2010 01:26 AM

i really hope those pathetic excuses for "staff" at Disney are reading this thread. that really stupid, banning people for using the coin flip. they don't even have the decency to add a cooler emote like "sharpen sword" or "clean pistol"

Roger Sharkshot 12-05-2010 01:27 AM

glitches thats wat

Captain Jason 12-05-2010 01:27 AM

I would like the idea of the sharpen sword thing... That would be cool.
