need to sink a skeleton ship....

hi pirates,
that quest is very hard... im lvl 15 notoriety and sailing lvl 7.... so what think disney??? i can sink a lvl30+ skeleton ship alone or with a crew with my 800gold ship??? that is a bad joke...

can anybody give me tips and tricks or can help me?

I think your best bet is to have more than one ship attacking it at once. If the skeleton ship is busy attacking the other ship, you can get in several shots without being attacked yourself.

Another way is to attack the ship until you get sunk, then hurry back and attack the same ship again. It will still be weakened from your first attack.

Phantom ships are quite easy... Storm Reaper's are way harder... Try to hit a Phantom, I can sink it with a Light Sloop.

The skeleton ship I sunk was a level 17. I took my time hitting it, making big circles around it, only getting kinda close to hit it, and then ran away a bit. Then another ship went in for the kill and got sunk, but made enough damage so I was able to finish it off.

phantoms are not that hard, but stay away from the reapers. The trick is to watch thier patrol pattern, they generally due ovals. sail towards them. time your first broadside to take them in the stren just after they turn away from you. you should be able to get 2 broadsides into them before they react, better yet man your guns, and take them down.

Yes, a lone sailor can take down a Phantom, but steer clear of those with the lightning. They are killer!
