Partner 'Til Death Nomination Thread

We've always had a little slogan that we've said here in the guild since it's early beginnings. We would use it from time to time, whenever the guild needed a little encouragement, or boasting, or at times that it seemed appropiate to celebrate our guild pride. As a guild, we've carried it with us not as a saying, or a motto, but as a path, a path which is hard to take, and harder to follow. It requires discipline, strength, kindness, willingness, and most importantly, individuality, in order to correctly follow it, for what it means, and what it says. It expresses who we truely are - not afraid to be ourselves, not afraid to stand up for what is right, no afraid to break the limits that others try to make for us. It is not just a saying anymore.

As a way to bring my gratitude out of words, I have decided to begin a new tradition here in PIC/PNC. I have decided to create a reward that shows the true meaning of loyalty, friendship, and trust, that anybody who wears it, can safely say that they truely are PIC 'til Death. This award proclaims the true ability to stand through the shadows, and embrace the light at the end of the tunnel. This award, is known as the Partner 'Til Death Award.

The Partner 'Til Death Award is awarded to those pirates, whether still around or not, who have shown extreme loyalty and gratitude to the guild over it's extensive history. The award is only handed out to those who have not deserved it, but EARNED it. No member, whether a Guildmaster or a Recruit alike, automatically has the award. Every single person who recieves it, must be nominated for it, by the members.

Criteria for Nominees
  • Must have been with PIC and/or PNC for ONE YEAR.
  • Must have possed friendly, compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, and leader-like qualities.
  • Must have had a massively positive impact on the guild throughout it's history.
  • Preferably, the nominee should have held a rank within the guild Officer or above, as most members who were with the guild for a year achieved a higher ranking. These pirates were also more likely to posses the qualities listed above. Ranking, however, is not required.

If you would like to nominate a partner for the award, please copy and paste the following application, and post it, completed, on this thread. DO NOT NOMINATE YOURSELF!

Quote:

Pirate's Name:
POF Username (if any):
Highest rank held within PIC/PNC:
Reason for Nomination:
Please remember, nominees from BOTH Partners In Crime and Partners N Crime are being accepted. Also, ALL pirates that can meet the criteria from the past and/or present within either or both guild(s) are up for nomination. NOBODY automatically recieves the award. And lastly, yes, you can nominate more than one person. Just be sure the same person isn't nominated twice :)

Thank you mates - now get to nominating! :buds:

Pirate's Name: Elizabeth Mcmorgan
POF Username (if any): LizMcmorgan
Highest rank held within PIC/PNC: Senior Officer
Reason for Nomination:
In the time that I've been in PNC, I've noticed Liz. In fact, she seems to be one of the more unsung heroes in the guild. I don't think anybody really notices her tenure, and the supreme dedication she's given it the past few years. Perhaps I have only been here for a few months, and didn't know her in PIC, but the fact of the matter is, she was there. She was there, and she has stayed here. She has moved up the ranks, slowly but surely, and she is there when we need her. She has made a brilliant Party Officer, Senior Officer, and all around friend. Nickname of Crazy? Yes, that's true. But Liz has always stood by our side, and I believe that she truly deserves this award.
