have you guys noticed that there are less basic people these days? since the lost weapons came out, i find it very rare to see a basic member. i went to abassa on tortuga, and only seen 1 or 2 basic members. doesn't this mean more updates?

No, it doesn't. It just means more people are paying Disney to be unlimited....

It may not guarentee the updates will come faster, but it is a very, very good thing.

With the recent influx of unlimited pirates, coupled with the usual explosion during the holidays, this kind of money will keep this game with a strong backing; motivation for the current developers, the ability to hire more developers, better funds in terms of enhancing the game overall, and, of course, giving Big D a good reason to keep us around for a while.

So, it may not necessarily mean the release of updates faster, as it does the quality. And I take quality over quantity any day ;)

I'm glad. My basic friends will get stronger and, hey, more money in D's pockets = better fixes and updates. The Lost Weapons were a powerful marketing tool, and instead of complain about their greedy ways, I congratulate them. I'd imagine that NONE of the Devs are filthy rich by any stretch of the imagination.

thats true also there leaving the a servers i see them constantly a lot of them were kids who played during the summer and are quitting you are just starting to notice it.

I still see a ton of grays. Even today in the cursed caverns no less.

I'm a basic and I've played ever since the game came out of beta, and i am yet to quit. Yes indeed I did take a long break, but I came back, and am again, yet to quit. Over the summer I got unlimited access through game cards, but I don't think i'll be leaving anytime soon. And a bunch of my friends are unlimited, so i notice what you mean by a bunch of people either leaving or getting unlimited.

Another main reason is that lots of basics dont play anymore, game hasn't been making much for basic these days, then certain areas have becomed unlimited only (mines)

I dunno. I haven't really seen a change in the Basic-Unlimited ratio. I do believe that a lot of people have turned blue for the weapons, and then there were a few that were unlimited for summer, then went basic, so they quit until their next game card. I really don't see how it could connect to more updates to be honest, unless you mean Basic --> Unlimited --> Money --> More from D. *shrug*

No, I don't think the new clothes are for a limited time. I've gone over the news post several times, and I didn't see it say anything about it being limited time. From what I understand it just says that they are setting up shop. If I'm mistaken please post where it says it is for a limited time.

Have you also noticed how many lvl 50's there are with the new body types? Those came out in March so in about 8 or so months they have already mastered
