I have been having a problem with the potco client not opening, then the browser not working, and its only disney i can get on and load all other pages, but disney comes up only in text form not html . then when im finally logged on i get this, ps these are probably large. ugh.

oh and ps now i continue to crash, and for the past few weeks i have been crashing while playing as most of PNC knows by my frustration in guld chat lol.

Now theres something you dont see everyday.

ya idk what else to do if updated my graphics card eventho it didnt need it, ive restarted all that business, so idk what else to do.

I'd say some settings in the Graphics Card Manager (like nVidias manager) could use some tinkering. Or, It's a freak accident, like the "Code" glitch (which can be found on YouTube).

Most likely one of the few that WDD noted. And correct me if I mess this up, but from what I understand anything Disney is in text or whatever? Which means you aren't able to go on live chat or e-mail them? If that is the problem then I can get like the technical support e-mail or phone number or whatever for you if you would like? This is what I understood from your post but correct me if i'm wrong. Hope you get it fixed! :)

for some reason it fixed it self so i have NO CLUE what happened. but ya the disney web site was in text with hyper links nothing else, as in when it fails to load, and when i tried to click on a hyper link it would do nothing but other webpages would come up just fine. but pirates in game is not cool when its in build mode as in the ines that make up everything! sailing made me sea sick!! the black lines all comming at me, weird for sure!! anyways thanks guys ill let you know if it happens again!

Whenever anything strange happens, or if you crash while starting or when tp'ing, always delete your cache folder.

The cache folder is where the games places graphics textures and other resources that it uncompresses from the phase files. If files become corrupted, deleting the folder forces the game to re-uncompress the files to recreate the folder.

Black objects in the game are caused by the game being unable to find the texture map that is supposed to be applied there.

If this does not work, a phase file might be damaged, to fix that, you would need to re-install the game.

It sounds like you are playing the browser version of the game, the cache folder is in a different location. Here is the browser cache location on Windows 7 (might be the same for Vista and XP, I don't know)

C:/Users/{insert your profile name here}/AppData/LocalLow/Panda3D/start/pirates

Replace {insert your profile name here} with the name of the computer profile you are currently logged on to.

The cache folder is inside the last folder in that address. Just right click on the Cache folder and delete it, then restart the game.

If you're lucky, that will fix it. Doing this fixes about 1/3 of the problems many people have and it is quick and easy to do, always give it a try.

Some people even say the game runs smoother for them if the delete it before each game or once a week. Myself, I only delete it when something is amiss. It has cured quite a variety of ills for me.

Jeffrey I have been paying browser and client version and both of them where doin this and not loading properly. I will delete the cache files and try that if it happens again, as of right now it has fixed itself, and i just re-dowloaded the client yesterday, after uninstalling, due to its constant crashing.

Yeah, just a freak incident. Consider yourself lucky as strange as it may seem. These random graphics bugs are actually pretty rare.
