Good way to get loot at sea
Today, I had an idea. L-like a diamond bullet going through my forehead. (Reference!) I have noticed that you get loot containers from crippling flagships, BEFORE you board them. So, if you want a hold full of loot containers, do the following:
1.) Find a flagship. (Higher level ones are more likely to give better loot) 2.) Cripple it, getting your Loot Container, if you get one. 3.) Grapple it, but DO NOT BOARD. 4.) Sail away and laugh as it sinks. 5.) Repeat. 6.) BE RICH! This is in theory only. I haven't tried this, but am as I type. It may be possible to get the Admiral's cutlass this way, and many other sea-only goodies. Post your stories and feedback here. This works best on a quiet server. Fair Winds! The Good *cough* Doctor. |
Tell me if it worked.

It takes awhile... But works alright. I recommend getting some crewmates that will listen to you to do it with. Turns out, you have to get some chest and regular loot before it will drop a container.
|
If you have too many loot containers it goes off the screen.

My sister and i tried this. nothing at all.

Ahh the loot from flags when crippled. I get loot chests from those.

I already knew about this a long time ago.

Doing this is, was, and always will be an easy way of getting Loot Containers. It's awesome when you know you can just cripple a Flagship, steal its Loot Container, grapple it and sink it.

^Aye.
I've known about it and though about it for a while, almost since loot came out. I never got around to trying it, though. I told my guild about this, and many now have Admirals Cutlass and all sorts of Charms, Globes, and Charts now. Might post screenies later. |
Ill have to try that... I could use some nice weapons
|
I'll try that, i'm trying to look for a famed saber with captains resolve.
thanks witch! |
TY for posting this, I will try it sometime! :)
