Hilarious Question on Grog Blog

http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/g...s_Question.png

Rofl, this is just hilarious, why did they accept this, I don't know but rofl.

CaptainMonkeys 11-13-2010 12:47 AM

My big question is, why don't they accept the sophisticated posts by me? How about I go type "Does the Marceline Guild like pie?" and see if they accept it.

WitchdoctorDan 11-13-2010 12:57 AM

Lulz, and I agree with Monkeys. Instead of bringing to the table discussion and realism, I'm just gonna say "Does Marceline guild like fart jokes as well?"

100 bucks I get a response.

Crestshot 11-13-2010 01:04 AM

They probably approved it because they thought it was hilarious and wanted to respond to it too, hahaha. The well thought out, sophisticated posts take too much thought.

And Dan? I take that bet.

WitchdoctorDan 11-13-2010 01:08 AM

Doing it then. - hopes he won't be banned - Look for Witchdawkta Dayn on the Grog Blog. :laughks2:

EDIT: Found this.

Griffin
i dont think even that guild and all the pirates that go with them can beat the rage ghosts. and i agre with the first guy the reward stinks they should at least put some gold in that sack.

Griffin, want more loot from a ghost huh. Well wait friend, does that make sense to expect gold from the undead who has no use of gold? That's like asking Jolly Roger to provide a cute puppy dog, it's just not going to happen. Some characters in the Caribbean have no desire to change ways.

And this:

Chris Daggerflint, kick them huh, won't your foot just go through the other side? These ghost have no physical bodies, and my my, if they heard you say that they would be mad rage ghost! Make sure you don't square up one vs one against these powerful ghosts.

And this... Too much rum, Cayman?

You can spot a Marceling Guild member by the skull and torches logo above their heads. Hope to see you there!

Tiberius Fireskull 11-13-2010 01:38 AM

AHHH HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! That is too funny!!!!!

I like pie too. :D

Nelly Darkpaine 11-13-2010 01:56 AM

They never seem to post any 'great' posts. Several times I addressed issues with the information on Legendary Weapon, and cursed Weapon drops. And, alas, no response on either. When I DID get an email from support - it was full of outright incorrect and just plain bad information. =/

grog blog

um maybe thats why they call it a grog blog.

You wanna' get on the blog? I do make effort to post something for very topic, not because I have to but because I always try and mention my guild and to draw attention to our members when I can. Here's my suggestions:

1) Be supportive! You can criticize, but it should be after a compliment. Like, 'I love sailing and plundering. But, I wish I could change my ship (aka Customize)' or 'I love fishing! Are there more legend fish coming' (as opposed to criping about not enough legend fish, etc.).

2) Be concise! - Make a singular point and be done. Disconnected thoughts won't be used. ('Having new enemies is great! Are we getting weather at sea soon? Can I trade gold?' etc etc)

3) Don't expect specific answers - They don't use the Blog to post things like ('You can find this thing at such and such' or 'Go here to get this weapon' etc.) It's for general feedback.

4) Be quick. As soon as a new topic is up, post your thoughts. They tend to stop adding after a couple of days.

Yeah, if you have any real suggestions or input that could be interpreted as negative, don't waste time posting. They wont answer or post it.

I had posted several times about bad information posted by a GM on there - the GM info was changed, but alas, my posts ASKING about his info were ignored. Go figure.

That was EC'S guide on "How to Post in the Grog Blog"! Seriously, if y'all haven't noticed, all of EC's posts appear in the Blog for every news post.
