Veteran's Day! - ETC Declares a One Day Truce on Royal Navy
 

Mates,

November 11th is Veteran's Day. We honor the men and women who lived and died in service of their country to protect their fellow citizens.

We in the E.T.C. encourage all pirates to show their support by wearing Red, White and Blue.

Also we will show our respects - to the Royal Navy. Though we be wanted pirates, these young men took an oath to protect citizens of the realm as volunteers. To that end, during November 11th, the Elite Thievery Co. vows a day of truce on the Royal Navy - only fighting in case of self-defense (or needing a quest).

Eliza, even though I'm not in ETC, I think that I have to spare some of those Navy folk too. But I will make up for it on Friday, and kill twice as many :P lol.

Lol of course. Patriot Day. Remembering all the people that died. Now, we are getting besides the point of the post.

I like the idea and will do it on my own too unless they attack me.

And for any actual veteran players out there go to Applebees with some kind of proof that you served and you can get an entree from their selected items. Go to their web site and you can see more.

I'm not one so I get nothing..... But might go just to find some and say thanks.

Good Idea Eliza! I hope you don't mind that I'm not in ETC. But it is a brilliant idea. So I will be participating.

i will help make sure there are more veterans of the navy in this game god rest there souls. (there not veterans whale there still in the navy) also the don't do there jobs ever or they would help during invasions.

My pirate is currently wearing the Valentine's day shirt and a blue skirt to honor all veterns. I also vow to not attack any members of the Royal Navy. They deserve a break for today.
