Still Moderated?
 

It's been over a month now and all my posts still have to be approved before they are officially posted. Just kind of annoying having to wait forever for a response.

Not trying to sound rude or unfriendly but I'm quite old enough to know what is appropriate to say and what is better left unsaid. I will review all the rules and policies of the forum to assure that no problems be encountered.

That will be all ladies and gentlemen. My apologies to anyone offended by this post and I shall trouble ye no longer.

Don't worry, soon enough a mod will respond. Try changing your password and PM'ing a mod. I was in a moderated stage for a long time, but I was in a non-moderated stage for a long time as well.

That's my input, the final source is a mod.

Users - on average - are kept on the new-user moderation for 3 weeks to a month, due to the sheer number of new users that join each week. This allows us the proper time to thoroughly watch each new member and make sure they're not just a spammer in disguise, or a big problem which will not fit well in the community. Users also have to be moved manually over to full access, rather than have it automatically occur, because it is possible some users will need to be kept on the moderation period for longer time frames due to behavioral issues. This is a mandatory waiting period for all users, because it is only fair and just that we give all users equal treatment while they are a member here at POF.

On that note, I've looked into your account and would guess that you will probably be moved from Registered User to Registered+ the next time users are bumped up. I assure you it is a procedure we have in place with everyone as a safety precaution. Better to be safe than sorry! :pirate91:
