Any tips on finding a legendary? (Any)
 

I am very sad that I can't find a legendary (the list i listed back in the other tread was my brother's pirate, he mad lucky). After 2 mouths hunting patron sword gave up and moved to the legendary cursed weapons. So far I only got Sharkfang, a famed broadsword cursed blade. Then while killing the 4 ghosts and I saw a guy, a level 48... HAS A BEHEMOTH BLADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS LIKE WHAT!? The I became very sad stopped playing. Then I feel like Disney hates me. They want money right? BUT they don't GET THE MONEY if they MEMBERS aren't satisfy. I am not satisfy!!! I even saw a level 31 have patron sword. A LEVEL 31!!!!! :( DUDE I KEEP GETTING JUNK FROM SKULL AFTER LIKE ABOUT 17 SKULLS!!! I gave up. Since after the 17th skull, one hour later LOOT POUCHES AND CHEST!!!!! Anyone mind sharing some tips? DON'T MAKE THE TIPS LIKE DON'T EAT YELLOW SNOW. >_<

seems it all is a matter of luck and with me my girl pirate has more luck than my mastered

My friend found Sharkfang today right in front of me and I got a crude weapon!

Its all luck its took me a few months to find El Patron sword.

I cant find any legendary weapons too! I saw a level 29 with patron.. lol GRR..

I have no less than 17 famed weapons, and no more than 0 legendary. I desperately want a legendary. Preferably The Lost Sword of El Patron, or the Behemoth Blade, but any would be nice. I really want a legendary!!!

i know it is hard finding a legendary sword i remember some level 18 got el patrons lost sword. I keep going to the mines every day and found a few rare and 2 famed weapons

In my entire time of looting, between Darkhart, Ravens Cove, and just a little Tormentaring, I've aquired 40 Lost Relics, and 2 Legendaries, both of which are Lost Swords. But....

There's no secret strategy on how to get good weapons. No magic tricks, lucky charms, procedures, rituals, no. There's only two things that you need to get good weapons - Luck, and determination.

Luck, you honestly can't change. You just have to be in the right place at the right time. But determination is what makes the weapons come. I've spent hours on end looting, without getting any Relics or above. Does that frustrate me sometimes? Sure. But does that necessarily means that Disney hates me? Of course not. I'm just having a bad day.

You can't blame Disney for not allowing you to get the weapons easy. If everybody could just buy a Behemoth Blade, or a Lost Sword, or whatever, then everybody would have one, and that would simply ruin the purpose of working so hard to get one.

So, my tips: Work hard, stay at it, and don't eat the yellow snow.

Yeah, but what Del said is right, luck and determination. Luck is something I really don't have. xD

Well, I would try to keep things consistent on a daily basis. Same server and same location whenever you loot. I think constantly pounding one server would weed out all the junk and eventually get you what you want.

Sorry for the consecutive posts, but just noticed this part. Since completing the Raven's Cove quest I have opened 354 skulls with 0 Famed and 0 Legendary Cursed Blades. You aren't the only one struggling.

I seem to have gotten more luck from the chests than the skulls. :erti078:

Luck and Determination as they said, completely random drops is what they give. Be happy that you at least find skulls, people like me don't find skulls that often, maybe a few a day unless I get lucky.

(I usually do all my training and looting alone, a few of my famed jumped in when a second or third person came and fought a boss or group of enemies with me)

To that Charles, my lower levels get better loot as well. Mastered Johnny Rigmenace was lv 45 when new weapons first came out. It took me several weeks to find one and was at like lv 47 at this point, a random skull from a dragoon none the less got me the Masterwork Sabre. Now has found about 15 famed and The Lost Sword of El Patron I believe.

Then there is my weaker pirate, Captain Imp, that found his first famed at around lv 22 training grenades at Kingshead. Found 2 in 1 day at the Veteran Group there. Now at lv 41 he has 10 famed and no legendary weapons.

I have a guild mate who is level 27 and is using the lost sword. its all luck mate.

I think the lower level you are the higher chance of finding a famed/legendary.

They say it's random, however I notice when a lower level attacks Abassa Dark Hart, you tend to get better loot.
