Does POTCO check here?

Just a question: does POTCO really check these threads? :zu02ol:

There are several threads that existed about this already. Yes, from what they tell us, they check here. Now, thats what they tell us. For all we know, what they tell us may be different from what they actually do.

Does POTCO check these threads?

Al rightly mate. thank you.

Captain Del 11-01-2010 11:25 PM

Sometimes.

Remember, this site is NOT directly affiliated with POTCO, just a fansite for a game they produced. However, in an interview with a large gaming site, when asked about the forums, a developer for POTCO did acknowledge the fact the site is around, and they were well aware and thankful for the fanbase that resides here.

So, they do know about us. Now, does that mean they necessarily check here? Of course not. But, there is a strong possibility that if they known about us, they'll check in from time to time.

Although, if you guys notice, POForums is a legit pirate word on game. Coincidence?

That might be because we managed to get a guild named POForums early on in the game before they started to crack down on filtering. Wouldn't make much sense to filter a guild's name, now would it:laughks2:

I'm pretty sure they check here, as the others have said. Good thing too, because a lot of us have some great ideas.

I doubt they do. I would have you seen how many threads there are putting disney down saying their game and hard work isn't good enough? If i were them i wouldn't bother with it.

They come and check this forums. They LOVE The Ban Games!

That would be a very, very bad idea.

If you want to improve something, you don't block out the criticism you're receiving, and only focus on the nice little group of people who think every decision is a good decision. You listen to what the players of the game are saying, because the more opinions you take in, the more the game would appeal to a larger group of people.

Let's also not forget the fact that some pirates who made comments on this side, have had their comments mentioned in News Articles from time to time. I know there's an example somewhere, so I'll try to look for it later.

Here's one example:

Quote:

Leo proclaims, "... I play this game because of PvP or Privateering..."
From the "Pirates to Become Infamous!" news article posted February 3rd.
