Another Live Chat attempt.
 

(This tech rep was extremely helpful even though I didn't get much new information. And I have decided that the best way to get some information is to be polite and ask the right questions. Boy, I hope something cool is coming!!! It will probably just be a muertos moon though :/ )

Devin: I see you have a question about the Halloween stuff to come?

Sean: Correct.

Devin: I am not entirely sure of what is going be coming out. Our developers haven't announced it yet so there is no telling what they have planned.

Devin: Your ideas sound cool though.

Sean: I mean it IS Disney, so you'd think that costumes such as those would promote other

Sean: Disney products.

Sean: Which would only be beneficial and fun for the rest of the community

Devin: Agreed

Sean: Eh, well I tried. Just thought I'd get my ideas out there without getting one of those generic responses that I am

Sean: so used to.

Sean: Ha ha.

Devin: I think the ideas they are using are already finalized since it takes a little while to create things in the game but I will pass you ideas up for our developers to take a look.

Sean: I appreciate it. And hopefully something exciting is to be done on Halloween. Also, realizing that it is Disney's 3 year anniversary means that something interesting should arise. Theoretically of course.

Devin: I certainly hope so, for myself as well as everyone else.

Sean: Right. Raven Cove was a great addition, but the quest was extremely short, especially for mastered pirates like myself. I look forward to having some content that will actually be lasting and fun, not just a side thing. Sorry for hogging all of your time, but my last comment would be on PvP. We deffinitly need to update the PvP system with new maps and game types. I personally am an avid PvPer and it gets annoying that it's always glitched and repetitive. ha ha Just my thoughts.

****I'd also like to add that my ideas that we spoke of involve PotCO releasing Disney-themed Halloween costumes for the holiday.

That's all fine and everything but he basically said nothing to you about any updates all he said was he would pass along info to the developers (which probably doesn't really happen). They are never going to give people the info they want to hear it's all scripted by a customer service rep but if it makes you feel better then that's fine I guess.

Finally, not an "Arr Yarr, Shiver me bloody timbers! I get payed to sit behind a desk and talk like a pirate all day and do all sorts of roleplaying things just to irritate ye!" Tech. Anyway, they are payed to sit behind a desk and take your TECHNICAL issues. I appreciate your attempts, but remember, they ain't devs.

Guys... leave the Live Chat workers alone. They won't spill anything. They are being paid to help people with technical problems, not people like us who want to know what is coming next. By doing this, you use up their time when they could be helping someone who crashes on login or something. Just let them be unless you are actually having a problem with the game itself.

I disagree... the Live Chat guys seem to be genuinely interested in ideas as well as helping with technical issues - AND I find that bugs are responded to MUCH more quickly when told via Live Chat. Ive gotten MANY personal responses when Ive spoken via live chat vs. sending a report.

I'm talking about asking for information about what is going to come in the game. Talking about bug reports is just fine, thats what its meant for. But you shouldnt be trying to make them spill the beans on what is coming next.

And that ruins the surprise doesn't it?
