PNC Guild Quest- Legend of the Blood Skull Casque Official Thread
http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/u...-44-39-2-1.jpg http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/u...22-13-51-3.jpg http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/u...22-04-46-3.jpg In October of 2009, an idea was formulated. An idea which sought to bring the game to the fullest extent - as made by the player himself. To entertain in such a way that each and every turn would hold it's very own surprise, presenting challenges, twists, and turns unlike anything ever attempted. Many pirates have walked through the pages of some of most captivating journies of all time - and these journies, have known to become called the almighty Partners N Crime Guild Quest. The first story began in to date previously mentioned - what was meant to be an experiment, grew in to something much better than that. Pirates were sent on an adventure to aid Captain Delmaria Darkskull in finding his long lost father, and restoring peace to the Caribbean - but this, my friends, was not in easy reach. Those who participated were rudely awakened by arguably some of the toughest tasks to take place in the Caribbean. By the end, there was only thing they could say - they wanted more. And so, they recieved it. In July 2010, the next Guild Quest was revealed - only much greater than the last. The Guild Quest II, aquiring the name "The Story of a Prince," had been shaped in such a way it expanded not only to the limits of what the Caribbean itself was capable of, but beyond that. Through a series of interactive and mind-boggling challenges, a huge group of pirates were left to aid Captain Lawrence Prince in solving his past - and who was really behind the events that had shaped the Caribbean. Still, with the folding of the quest, the need for another was only greater. Today, this shall be satisfied. The bar has been raised once more. For months, I, along with insight from outsider helps, most notably the infamous Buck Bankok, have been crafting the next installment of the PNC Guild Quest Saga. And now, for the first time, I present to you all... The Partners N Crime Guild Quest - Chapter III http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/u...gm/BSC-1-1.jpg The Legend of the Blood Skull Casque Winds are blowing through the Caribbean - both of change, and of times of old. As the free world around us morphes in to further stages each and every day, we watch as old friends.. and enemies... return to us. The question is, however - is that necessarily a good thing? Piracy has never been at the point as it has now. Freebooters from across the world have come to submerse themselves in the culture of the Caribbean - some to have it prosper, and others, to have themselves prosper. And with the recent rumors of the Blood Skull Treasures resurfacing after all of these years, has only attracted more commotion. But why have these treasures returned? Are they simply rumors? Has the rising of a new island brought about a curse? We cannot simply ask what has brought them back... but who.. Through the course of this quest, pirates will not only be pitted against the forces of evil, but for the first time, against each other. After all, friends can be unlimited - but plunder can only stretch so far, aye? The quest will work with a beginning overall prize of 100,000 gold. Whenever a mission is failed, 1,000 gold is subtracted. Whenever a quest is completed, 500 gold is added. In some cases, bonus missions will be held, in which the gold may either go in to the grand prize, or directly to a specific pirate. How the grand prize will be decided... well, time can only tell! Like last time, only those pirates within the guild may participate. However, this is exactly what this means! From now on, you can only use pirates that are in the guild! Also, we will no longer hold the progress of a quest, if you are unprepared. Last time, we would often wait in between tasks for people to get ready. This is no more. Ready or not, the mission will go on! (Which means you should get ready BEFORE we start!) The Quest will officially kick off sometime in the near future - I'm not going to give ye a specific date, because that ruins the surprise, now doesn't it? Good luck pirates!.... Yer gonna need it.... |
one word
SWEETNESS |
It seems interesting, but as I have never been to a guild quest and I don't have the time for it I shall not be participating.

Prologue
The stiff wind flew briskly through the crisp Caribbean air. It was a cool night, the moon high at it's stern position in the sky, showering a blissful light throughout the seas many corners. The Captain's words echoed through your head as you and your fellow crewmen creep up the stone dock, wet from the small fog that passes through the world before you. "Do not fail me, mates," he had urged confidently within the hull of the deck only a few hours before. "It's about time we set things straight." You sat behind a large stack of crates, the great fortress towering over your farther view. The waves silently pushed against the concrete pillars beneath you, at some points throwing small droplets of water over the side of the deck, and on to your face. The crew forms a small circle, hidden behind the packages, with Delpadros keeping his back to the cargoes before you. "Alright mates, you all know the plan. We'll run through it again, though....." Meanwhile, in the north, at the savage pirated port of Tortuga, raves of freebooters dance, mingle, and shove through the bay of the island, hugged tightly on all sides by rambleshacked shops, a tavern, a shipwright, and a slender strip of beach, that slowly descends in to the waters below. It boasted a dock, carring goods from through the New World. And on to that dock, stepped a woman. Her fiery red hair flew in strands through the breeze, hidden under her wide, brimmed, feathered hat. She was dressed in lavished and decorative clothing, like as though she were royalty among the plunderers and pillagers alike. And to that, she indeed was. She glazed her eyes over the place, and gave a slight scoff. "This should be perfect..." she smiled deviously with her seductively beautiful face. She turned off to her crew, and shouted. "Unload the things, mates! We've found our new home...." Back to the west, where a pirate captain sat stoicly in his chair. His rough hands held up his dark, bearded face, hiding underneath the savage hair and jewelry a calm, handsome Englishman, tainted by fate and disaster. He stood up in the greatly cluttered cabin, enchanted with globes, heavy furniture, silks, and various treasures alike, and walked over the wall of windows that looked out the stern of the War Frigate. Through the light mist, he stared from afar at the Naval island where his crew was, waiting to see them pounce. He had no doubt in them - but he all doubt within himself. And to the east, we find the last of the trinity. He stood atop a colossoly high cliff, poking out of a large wall on the fresh island, looking out over the rest of the Caribbean from some hundreds of feet above the rough, clashing waters below, as they churned through the rocks and rubble that scattered beneath them. The ghostly figure stood proudly over the world he had left behind so long ago. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, prepared to reclaim what was rightfully his. This, was the face of evil. It is but only a few months after the Caibbean witnessed one of it's most crucial moments - and much has changed. Tension, fear, and rumors swirl through these waters. It is a grave time, where sides must be taken, and where bonds must me made... and destroyed. Objective: At least FIVE members must approach me on or after Sunday, October 17th, to begin the Guild Quest III. |
Fine Del, I posted, this looks so exciting!

Mission 10
Mission 10 - The Crew
The following is a list of crew members that need to be gathered, before Leanne let's ye dogs join her: Andrew Bowdash - The self proclaimed "King of Tortuga," Bowdash is one of Leanne's many ex's from across the known world. Because Leanne is considered the "Pirate Queen of the West," Bowdash is caught in the dellusion that he himself should be seen as pirate royalty. Bowdash may not be much of a fight, but he's a pretty good map reader and navigator, which is why Leanne is (reluctantly) searching for his help. Ferrano - Brought to the Caribbean after being liberated by Leanne from an Italian prison many years ago, Ferrano has dedicated himself to perfecting every fine detail and aspect of the almighty blade. So much so, they've become an uncontrolable obsession of his.... making him an excellent swordsman to have aboard. Black Mack - A cheater and a swindler, Mack spends nearly every awaking minute hustling poor mates in the taverns throughout the Caribbean, often getting himself in to quite a bit of trouble. Still, Leanne likes Mack for his keen way to weasel out of any situation, and wants him to join her crew. Pauper Pedro - Stuck on Padres since birth, Pedro has never set foot of the volcanic island. Aside from keeping his tavern at it's best, he spends his free time sitting out in front of the Ratskellar, watching ships come in to and leave the busy port, wanting to be on one. And with Leanne looking for crewmen.. it's an offer he might not refuse. Macamo - "Mac" was drawn to Cuba since he was a fine young man, in search of expanding his mystical voodoo powers - and has hated the place ever since. He longs to put his powers to use, aside from keeping them in a jar as he hands out potion after potion to wandering pirates. The Guild must choose THREE crew mates to recruit. Whoever you choose to join Leanne's crew, it will greatly affect the quest in later stages! Choose wisely! DO NOT BEGIN THIS TASK UNTIL I AM ONLINE! Each crew member will have a specific challenge for them, which requires me to be online. |
I want pauper pedro in..... i feel his pity... :D
and i want mac due to his AoE skills (AoE= Area of effect) and i want fernardo.... He seems crazy... :) But i also want mack..... he seems to be grenade crazy.... But i also want bow dash.... he seems good with the ship.... T-T SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM! T.T |

The map pieces can only be found through riddles, each leading to the person you think has it. When you think you figure out where the piece is, go there, and have me Teleport.
Map Piece #1: From a gypsies perch, Out across the waves, She stands by the edge, Fixing her gaze. She looks at an island, not too far, on a middle pillar, Of her jail. Map Piece #2: A man of mallar, Holds the next piece, In his tight, bony fist..... er, fiest. He is good with cannons, Shooting only in moderation, Oh, how his shots persist. |
I'm horrible at riddles. Just gonna back up and let everyone else solve 'em. xD

Mission 22 ~ Of Two Nations
The pirates burst in to the Rowdy Rooster, overjoyed at their victory over the forces of Jolly Roger. Dozens of men and women crowd the bar, dancing, singing, laughing, and cheering, as they celebrate yet another joyous day in the Caribbean. The lights of the usually gloom bar are lit at full blaze, bringing a happy, cheery mood to the entire room, as you, Lawrence, and the rest of the crew find a table to sit at. Lawrence pulls up a chair and plops down on to it, flinging his ostrich hat on to the table as you sit alongside your mates. He smiles as he leans back in his chair, propping his feet up on to the wooden table. "Seems like you all sharpened up your skills was I was on my little vacation - and I'm hoping that's a good thing!" You laugh with everybody else, as one of th crew ushers over a round. The crew buzzes for a while, but you sit there in silence, pondering something heavily. You noticed something... different?, about the skeletons that invaded the shores. They were wearing some rustic, fancy-plated armor, with the rough outlinings of beautiful inscriptions etched in to every single body shield. They acted not like the usual skeletons, ragged, unorganized, and blood-thirsty - they seemed to move in unison, like an army, almost. At each swing, another blocked; at each fall, another went to take it's place. But the most eerie thing, was what they were "saying." Each of them chanted a random battle cry of slurs and slips, flicks and slings. It was though they were trying to push something out, but you couldn't put your finger on it. It was gibberish to you, something that often would just pass your mind - but this, no, it was strange... "Alright mates, I say we can go enjoy ourselves a night out on the town, aye?" Lawrence kicks back his chair, rudely ramming itself in to the legs of a passing-by pirate, who topples over on to the floor. Lawrence quickly trots out of the bar, paying no attention - and you do the same. Your the last of the crew to leave the entrance of the noisy bar in to the quiet moonlight. All that sounds is the background noise that comes from the tavern's open door, and the light curling of the waves on to the nearby beach. You let the crew reach out of your gaze, taking a minute to take in the beauty of the night. Your peace is rudely interupted, however, when you are tugged by the wrist violently aroud the corner of the bar, in to a small crevice in between the side of the Rooster and the town walls, cut off your only entrance by, of all people, Leanne O'Malley. You turn to face her in disgust, your back against a crate that sits behind you. "What do you want?" You hiss. She growls and grips both of you arms affirmingly. "You aren't the only one who heard those noises, my friend." She whispers as you dazingly push her off you. "How did you...?" Before you can finish the sentence, she cups a hand over your mouth, shushing you as she looks over her shoulder to check if anybody is listening. "Look. I know I haven't been the best of friends, but business is business, aye?" Unmoved, she continues to persuade you. "The chanting you heard was, what I believe, having to relate to something called the Blood Skull Cask - I'm not sure what it is, really, but you can help me find out." "Cask? I thought it was the Blood Skull Casque?" "Bleck, that's what Delmaria and them want you to think. Look, help me out, and I promise you, it'll be worth your while." She winks as she turns away from you, off in to the light mist of the night. Objective: You are now temporarily going to be broken up in to teams. There will be two teams, or "crews" - one will be Lawrence's, and the other, Leanne's. The next few tasks of the quest will involve you all being pited against the other team, in a race to reach yourself closer to the Blood Skull Treasures. IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NEXT FEW TASKS OF THE QUEST, YOU MUST POST BELOW THAT YOU WANT TO JOIN IN. Upon posting, you will be ASSIGNED a crew, to make everything even. So, no, you can't choose ;) REGISTERING FOR A TEAM WILL END AT NOON PACIFIC TIME, THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH, 2010! The Loyal Partners of Captain Lawrence Prince Andrea Melissa Charlotte Goldcastle Crestshot Swordshot Rose Ropeburn Lady Nayana The Rebel Crew of Pirate Queen Leanne O'Malley Grace Goldgull Pirate Guy La Corsaire Francias The Whirlwind Lancer Slouyx Elizabeth McMorgan |
