Greetings to the POTCOF -
Hi Everyone, I feel a little silly posting like this but it seems like it's a good way to get to know the people and it doesn't seem like it's considered bad form like on other boards (you know where they kind of expect you to know everything before you come to play).. :laughks2:
Anyway, while I'm new to this forum I've lurked and read for many years - (I was mistaken and thought I had a previous membership here but that was on another Pirates site). :Pirate3: I've been playing POTC off and on for since 2007.
I enjoy the camaraderie of the game and my guild the most. It should have been an obvious move long ago to join up here and have gotten some long gone friends to as well as a way to keep in touch ==> but can't go back and fix that, I can only move forward.
BIO: I was a competitive Privateer Player and placed top 5 in the Official 2008 Competition. But rampant cheating at the time frustrated me so much that I quit the game for a while. It just hasn't been the same since for me, but I'm hoping to maybe light that fire up again if they ever get a handle on the lag.
