Anyone actually seen a moderater in game recently?

This sort of ties into the "Are People getting ruder and ruder thread"
I don't do a lot of reporting other players, but I've been playing for a couple of years now and there have been some occaisions where I've had to report bad behavior in game.

I recall a couple incidents from a couple years back when reports were made and Moderaters actually showed up using pirate avatars on scene to investigate incidents. I haven't seen this happen recently in game and am under the impression that now game moderaters seem to be relying entirely on chatlog content in investigating their reports.

I've been a moderater in another online "Non Disney" game and I can assure you that the presence of moderaters in game has a great effect in reigning in disruptive and rude players. Also the chatlogs don't always tell the "Whole Story" regarding in game incident reports. Often times it is neccessary for a Mod to go in game and deal directly with the individuals involved in order to sort out an issue.

I was just wondering if anyone has actually seen a moderater in game or had moderater contact during a reporting incident recently?

When I meant game officer the person was lieing. But there might be undercover ones at there.

I have never had contact with mods on the game when reporting bad behavior. But maybe there are undercover ones like titanic said.
At least I sure do hope so, for its true that the whole story isn't in just the chat logs, like ye said!

The moderaters I saw in game a couple years ago were on regular pirate avatars and you wouldn't be able to tell them from any other regular pirate, they had no special icons over their heads. But they were definately moderaters responding to the reports.

Lol What I want to know is, how can you TELL if they are a moderator or not, if they use a regular pirate avatar? Just curious.... :P

We knew they were Mods because they were responding to the report they knew details of the report and they contacted everyone involved in the report directly.

Concernign Pirate Mods

WOW!!!! :O That's incredible. Only seen one mod of my own a long time ago ( just last year, actually, lol ) and he permanently banned someone. LOL!!!! Talk about weird......... :)

I've also had mods contact me by whisper chat in game asking me to describe the specifics of a report incident, but then this was a couple years ago. I'm wondering if they are still getting directly involved or simply depending on the chatlog records? They need to be directly involved.

I have been involved in a situation where a mod came...

Game is probably way to big now to do that. If there were mods that went to every argument in game, Disney would need a whole army of mods. However its nice that they used to do that, to get the whole story.
