The Sharkfang Blade

I have found the sharkfang blade on test, at tormenta in a loot skull chest! Today is a grand day for me! Cursed ice AND Critical strike AND endurance boost = win!

It's a broadsword.

Cool. Its nice of Disney to give you something decent for once.

Seems that saying "Give me Famed Weapons or Give me Death" worked, eh Dog?

Tiberius Fireskull 09-25-2010 04:35 PM

Pretty good Dog. Can't wait for this to come live.

Jason Ironskull 09-25-2010 04:40 PM

Congrats on the nice find, Dog!

Chimera Doll 09-25-2010 05:37 PM

Great find, Dog. Congrats!

My Tyrant Blade still beats your Sharkfang Blade! Ha! Nice find though mate.

Well, I would argue that Dog's is better. Cursed Ice cancels out, Critical Strike Rank 2 > Drain Health rank 2 and Endurance +2 is more useful than +2 Brawl. Makes up the 2 point attack difference in my mind.

How is Critical Strike better than Drain Health? I mean yes, it's a rare possibility of twice the damage being applied, but doesn't draining one's health into yours provide more self-sustainability?

Oh wait imagine this for an epic weapon --- A weapon with Hurricane Slash, Critical Strike and Drain Health!

James Bladefury 09-25-2010 07:48 PM

The name is cool, I like the whole shark theme. It shows that you are deadly and if not taken seriously, you could end up dead.

BenRopeburn 09-25-2010 11:04 PM

This is kinda getting ridiculous, these new cursed blades are way over powered. They need to give the lost sword better boosts.

Rannulf 09-26-2010 06:33 AM

Any chance of posting a screen shot of ye pirate with the blade in hand?

For drain health, you drain very low amounts, so low that it doesn't really make a difference. I used throwing knives with drain health, and througout the whle combo from knife throw to twin backhand, I only drained less then 100 health, while darkhart took 150 health from 1 single taunt skill.
I think critical stike is better too, especially sword attacks go fast, you get a critical every few secs.

Okay thanks for the insight ;)

Well, if you took the number of damage inflicted to you and damage taken from your enemy the net number is more than likely negative, unless you are battling something like a Gravedigger. And I would say that Drain Health is pretty useless with a sword with 91 attack. Using something that powerful you would have no need for the +50 health or so from each hit. The Endurance boost will also add in a nice amount of health, varying by level, which would probably come close to leveling out the difference when being compared to Drain Health.
