i was looking through the complete list of weapons and one category was spyglasses. are these out on test , if so what do they do

Now your talking Monkeys! Maybe they allow you to see into the distance? Or track a certain type of ship? Example: type in Death Omen, and a red ray of light points toward the nearest Death Omen?

I thought hit people with them meant ' whack whack whack ', not something like a telescope. Heck, shouldn't it be a telescope?

Spyglasses might be for SvS combat where you look at the enemy island or something to see where important documents are and you have to steal them? Different types grant different access to different abilities and better focuses.

Well there were some spoilers provided by speedway that said there were new ship skils coming like "fix it now" (increases ship repair speed) so...

Spyglasses huh? The best time to use a spyglass is when you're up in a crow's nest and I hope that's an update!

well remember when we had the email sent with the black hat and fishing coming soon and explore new islands in explore new "islands" there was a pirate with a spyglass looking at raven cove or at another mysterious island just thought i would throw that out there

P.S. they said islands as in plural i think

In my historical accuracy, I must say that a crows nest is only on a whaling boat, where temperatures were low and they would be lined with cloth and blankets to keep the man inside warm. On a regular ship they are called lookouts or something. :P Can't remember correctly.

ANYWHO, Spyglasses? I can't begin to imagine how they would be used. The sea isn't that big in POTCO, I can see across just fine, thanks.

oh yeah! Explore new ISLANDS. Not just Raven's Cove. It'd be sweet if we could use spyglasses in the crow's nest. But I have yet to guess what the use of these would be.. :piratewheelgo2:
