Engraved Pearl Quest
 

I have the quest to steal 2 pearls from 5+ Navy Officers in Fort Charles. The tracking light keeps sending me into the Governers Garden. Then into another area in there with very high level Navel Officers. Which one is the right area?

I would go up on the hill where their big fort is. There are a wide range of Navy Officer levels there and its not too hard to avoid the highest levels.

I have noticed sometimes the tracking light is buggy-it seems to point into the caves for no reason.

I now have a new part to the engraved pearl quest. I need to get two pearls from rock crabs. I have been killing them on Rumrunners Isle for two days now. I've been getting everything but pearls. The tracking light keeps pointing to Torguga. But when I try to follow it, I keep going in circles. Any suggestions?

I think you've been killing sand crabs for two days. The rock crabs should be in the Misty Mire on Tortuga.

There are sand crabs, rock crabs and giant crabs on Rumrunners Isle that I have been killing. But I will try Misty Mire the next time I play.

This is a problem with the quest explanation. It should read rock crabs on Tortuga since no other crabs work. To find the crab enter into the Misty Mire (located at the swamp part of the beach). As soon as you enter you will be on elevated planks. Ahead of you will be swamp with a very small mound of dirt. The crab is usually on top of this mound. Kill it and wait for a respawn. Use your pistol and use just round shot. Get nice and close, then fire. If you're pretty close, you should get the pearls.
