Test Release Notes - September 16, 2010
 

*Raven´s Cove Story Quest now on Test! If you are a Pirate with a Notoriety Level 30 or above, visit Jack Sparrow on Tortuga in the Faithful Bride to embark on this new journey.
*New Quests include mini-game quests, defending innocent souls, disguise yourself to fool the enemy, Undead Poker & more!
*New Quest Dialog will allow you to interact and pick your response like never before.
*30 New Cursed Blade loot drops, including 5 new Legendary Cursed Blades (can only be found after completing Raven´s Cove Story Quest)
*New Enemy Types (Ghosts and Firebats!)
*You are now able to drink Tonics while having a Bayonet equipped
*Attuning pirates inside a warding aura no longer does damage
*Various NPCs that should not be walking around are now in a fixed location
*Ammo in your inventory now has item cards when you roll over them
*Island names are no longer visible on land
*Other players can now see when attacks are blocked or reflected in Pirate vs. Pirate
*Bosses now show their own name in their health meter and attuned list
*Changing to windowed mode no longer obscures your window bar at the top of the window
*Various fishing & potions mini-game crash fixes

the game now crashes for me every time something is written to my journal!

I have learned that ghosts are invincible to defeat for the time being, I can't defeat them as they "reborn as soon as they die"

My guess?

You cannot defeat Ghosts until you yourself are UNDEAD!

More problems, the big undead bosses on PDF are now friends, and cannot be attacked.

Darkhart? Timmy? now FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Say it is not true. :laughks2: Just keep reporting and they will work out the bugs.

I can't even log onto test, I get a loading bar with endless ness.

Geez... tons of bugs.... We can only hope it will be out by october.

I'm not sure if Traitor Ghosts count as innocent souls.

did the update take literally 2 hours for anyone else or was it just my cafes computers and the fact that i'm using plug and play usb drive

some are innocent souls, but some are enemies.
and as for the picture, look at his only attack, Somber Demise. 30000 damage. I bet that its a voodoo type thing, so what if someone used voodoo reflect on themself to kill the ghost? i have a dagger witht hat skill on live, so i'll see if it works and if that kills him. we can only hope he has under 30000 HP, although it wouldb be unfair if he didn't
