Crab Entrails
 

I am supposed to get entrails from 2 Giant Crabs on Driftwood Island - have killed about 20 of them... no luck - anybody have any hints on this?

I'm having the same problem and it's so frustrating! I've even tried other islands and other kinds of crabs. Nothing. It doesn't even look for the entrails.
If i dropped the quest can I pick it up again...from the same place?
Can anyone help?

I am havin the same problem. Have been to most of the other Islands and killed Giant, Rock and Sand crabs with no luck. I put in a bug report and suggest you put one in too.

If these replies are any indication, only a small amount of us are having this bug. Higher level players I have asked didn't have this problem. So I guess it's new and we are just "lucky". Sigh.

Well, I'm Notoriety level 20 and although that isn't really very high, it's higher than a lot I see around. My guildmate, also level 20, completed it the day before I got to it and she only had to kill about 5. Have submitted numerous bug reports on this and other glitches with the quests however, I thought maybe somebody might not have had this problem recently and that is why I posted.

Yay! I'm not the only one! Off to submit a bug report then and wait it out killing things and playing poker :-)

I'm level 18, and my daughter, who's about 2 level ahead of me didn't have the problem.
I just hope they fix it soon. I have to resort to taking silly side quests for something to do in the game. I know I can just level up sinking ships and killing enemies, but I'd like to see the story progress. My killed crab count is up near 100 now. Sigh.

Tonight on Test after they closed for maintenance for a minute I signed back on and to my surprise the Ray of Light was shining for the crabs! So I took a trip over to Driftwood and finally completed the task! Hopefully it's fixed for everyone. :-)

Yes, yay it's fixed! Just in time for the whole thing to be reset. Groan.
