Got him off a Navy ship and have spend the last 3 days trying to drop him off at Driftwood Island,but he's always on my ship.Hope they fix that.
Had him a long time now,just downloaded the test server and am playing again.First thing I did was go to Driftwood Island to drop off the Rascal Barts but he's still with me.How can they open this when I can't even drop off an old Capt?

He got home,I slit his throat and dropped his carcass off on the Island

Working on Boss Battle now,when I find out what it is.

Same. Can't maroon him.

That's odd, I've never had a problem dumping anyone off. Did you try another island? I usually use Devil's Anvil for marooning.

Say's to drop off at Driftwood Island

Im having the same problem and a friend of mine as well.

Been carrying Bart around for a few days now. Have tried many times after logging out and back in, have tried various other isolated islands, have tried returning to John Smith to see if he could recognize that I was on Driftwood, and even returning to O'malley, Bowdash and whoever else... they all say, "Well, done," then send me on my way with nothing to do and Bart still needing marooned.

Hope they fix it soon. But on the bright side, its been nice to have the time to do a lot of leveling up of weapons and sailing.

I've had him for a week already,might just have to turn him into a pirate.
Gave me plenty of time to get the money for a War Frigate.I've been able to take out 6 or 8 big ships on 1 trip with it ,but have also died by little ones twice.
Cost $180 to repair from sinking,need to make sure I don't get sunk any more.

My pirate is level 23 and just got the Capt Bart quest today and also can't maroon him.

Guess i will just plunder ships or play poker to get my War Frigate
till they fix this Capt Bart quest.

Well it's closed for maintenance right now, so hopefully they'll fix this and we can continue playing :)

That has happened to me several times recently, too. For example, I had taken out a few ships on a run this morning, including a level 27 and a level 22. I had taken some damage, but was still only half way down the hull indicator and was heading to an island to drop the loot when a level 10 sailed by, hit me once and sunk me.

To stay on topic, I too hope this maintenance fixes the problem with Bart. Have had the guy cuffed in the cabin of my ship for a few days now and he's starting to smell.

On the test server right now, and still can't maroon Bart :( lol

Guess we have to adopt him.
