Moving On
 

Well with a little sadness I have decided to part with POTCO. As of Sept 1 my account went basic for the first time since I started playing in February 2008. Somewhere along the way POTCO went from a MMO that was designed to expand on Disney's attempt at online gaming as well as profit from the extremely popular movie franchise, and during that time I could forgive them dragging thier feet expanding the game because they were still learning their way. But as I see the game today it has turned into just a marketing tool for the next movie where they are holding out expanding the story, in my opinion its has been ready for a while now, and hoping to add easy little things like potions and fishing to keep enough players around till next Spring when they start pushing POTC4 then you will see movie and game advertising as well as the release of the second story.

I'm very sad to see you leave, Crazy. You've been around here as long as I can remember, so seeing your ship leave port.. wow. I understand how one can lose emotional connection with the game over time.

Hopefully one day you'll return. Until then, fair winds!

I have never seen POTCO that way before. That is a great idea. I would have done the same thing.

Hope you can return back someday once and if the game gets better. You will still be around POF though right? If so, well see you around. If not, well see you soon. Either way stay safe!

This makes me so sad. I cannot say i will miss you, because i have missed you for quite a while already. I do hope that you, and others, come back to the game someday (or that you will come on for guild events and such). Hope that the Big D sees fit to give us more to do soon so that can happen.
