The other link wouldn't work because of the "javascript:deliverPopDisclaimer" in it.

When I was checking my yahoo emails I did notice the little advertisement banners on the pages on the yahoo site. That means Disney is at least advertising somewhere other than the tv commercial that may appear once every 6 months.

Roger Sharkshot 08-20-2010 11:05 PM

yeah disney should advertise more

I didn't know the game was free, I demand my 80$ a year back, and I demand unlimited access to the game.

Seriously, though, this isn't good publicity. No wonder they have more people playing the game for free than paying for it.

Hopefully we will see a increase in new players, who after experiencing being basic will choose to buy unlimited.

I agree!

However it is a great way to advertise. It's free to download and play, but to access the main quest, best weapons, and ships you must pay. Its a hook.

If I got my 80 bucks back for the 2 years that I have paid and keep the unlimited. I promise I won't complain about lack of content.

Hey, Lord of the rings online is going to have a sort of basic access thing now. Very cool.
