Ships of Line Sail Shooting
 

kit is irritating that people don't listen to you when you know that when i strip the sails off the ships of line they just go faster.

Well taking there sails down only slows them down not stopping them same goes with my war galleon during a navy treasure fleet all my sails were destroyed but I was still moving very slow.

It only makes sense, cause then people would shoot the sails making them immobile and causing them to win automatically cause they can't move...

They don't change their speed at all when you shoot their sails - they slow down or speed up on their own. I've had the SOTL's sails completely ripped off, and it goes at the same speed...

As for them shooting the sails, sometimes people do it so they can have an easier time shooting the hull. The front sail and front main mast make it hard to hit that front portion of the Navy/EITC Elite/Tyrants.
