Communicating with offline players

Ever needed to communicate to your friends and guildmates but you never could catch them online? For example, I went vacationing in a time zone that was 10 hours time difference. It was difficult keeping people from leaving my guild, and I wanted to let my officers know that I would be back soon.

For this reason, I think that something along the lines of letters would be handy. Ex. Pirate 1 wants to have Pirate 2 meet him at X o'clock. So he sends a letter that Pirate 2 gets when he comes back online from Pirate 1.

Go ahead and post your thoughts.:pirate2:

Or just have the ability for the GM and Officer's to leave a message that is viewable to either, all Officers (and the GM), or everyone.

I've played another game that lets you do this.. only problem, anyone could delete the message..

I'd like to see another tab, that says letters and it's almost like e-mail with letters and etc.

Also, perhaps something under guild options that can show a guild calendar which only the GM can edit. It would show this months calendar, and perhaps have a star on days with an event planned. Click on that and it gives you the details.
