a deckhand cutlass,2 cabbin boy cutllasses,and more i forgit about

im wondering.is there any boynet that basic can use? a cracked boynet? i have a cracked blunder buss so is there a boyanet i can use?

There are no crude bayonets, muskets, or broadswords mate sorry.

there are two sabres you can use, those are cool. During the free unlimited weekend, I liked the broadsword, but was not so thrilled with the muskets, bayonet or not.

There is a crude broadsword. My brother, who is basic, was using one. I'll post a pic of it later

Really? odd.. POTCO mentioned that there were no crude broadswords.

Please do, In the grog blog it was stated that there were none by a GM.

They are all liars, and overrated. They are all talk, but I can bet they didn't level up to where they are.

I can care less about this opinion.

What I care about is if a crude Broadsword exists on open, and can be found.

he probably had an iron cutlass, which was one of the old weapons. it looks like a broadsword, and all those weapons are crude.

I was guessing the same thing, but hoping it my be a fluke and some got out on open.

I had a crude bayonet but i sold it had no use for it.

This has to do with the pirate blade looks like a broadsword but is a cutlass

When the El Patron weapons first came out, there was a crude version of everything. A few weeks later Disney decided to limit Basic Access players to crude weapons, and a week after that, exactly 1 month after the El Patron weapons were released, they converted the crude version of the bayonets, muskets, and broadswords into common. The statement in the Grog Blog refered to above was the announcement of the change.

So yes, there were crude broadswords at one time, but they no longer exist. If you had one, after the change it would show as common and be locked out.

Loot for Basic & Unlimited Access Members May 21, 2010

With the expanded Sea Chest, Pirates are now able to carry more loot than before. However, there are some differences in which loot items Basic and Unlimited Access Members can fully use. Here are a few points you need to know about collecting loot after defeating an enemy:

Basic Access Members:

If you are a Basic Access Member, you will be able to collect all items from the loot drops.
Basic Access Members can only use Crude items. Please note:
There are no Crude Broadswords, Muskets, Bayonets, Daggers, and Voodoo Staves in weapons.
There are no Crude jewelry and tattoos. However, there are Crude clothing items which you can collect and use.
Basic Access Members can purchase and use healing tonics but can only create and use the first few potions in Potion Brewing.
When you get a weapon drop, check the weapon card to see if it is a Crude weapon. To use a weapon, you will need to train for it and reach the skill level to unlock it. Your weapon card will indicate the necessary requirements to unlock a weapon.

there are still crude broadswords and bayonets in april 2010 a video was put on youtube with that had someone fighting with a crude bayonet and broad sword ill see if i can find the video

The wiki states that the rusty bayonet is crude, but this is not so. It is in fact common.
