Mountain Climb on Tortuga
I believe there are three different ways of doing this glitch, and the version I am about to give you is probably the longest, but hey it works so I don't complain about it.
Go to that blue boardwalk in Tortuga that is just outside the area where the Faithful Bride and Doc Grog's office are - the one that leads you into the swampy area. On the right of the boardwalk, you need to jump the fence in the little area where there is no railing. When jumping it, try to be as close to it as possible, for it works quicker that way. Once you've jumped the fence, swim straight into the dark spot on your compass, then swim around the swamp and off the map. Keep swimming around the swamp until you get to the sandy area, and then swim straight until you're standing and you can see the sword and gun shops in front of you. You are now inside the mountain. Aim your screen up a little bit, face away from the two buildings, dance a jig and immediately start running forward. If you're swimming again after you do this, then you have done it wrong. Continue trying it until you are standing over this area rather than swimming. For some, this step takes a while, and for others it can be done within one or two tries. Next, you need to aim your screen all the way up and start going backwards in circles. Go up as high as you'd like, then slowly poke yourself out of the mountain, but don't go too far out or you will fall and have to start over again. Try turning yourself around so you're facing away from the two shops again and slowly back up until you're poking out of the mountain completely.
People will constantly ask how you got up there, but don't tell!
