The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword
 

E3 announced that this is coming in 2011. Who here is excited about this game coming for Wii?

*Waves hand frantically*

Extremely excited, seeing as how I grew up with Zelda being a pretty big thing. Only thing that I'm not so crazy is about is how cartoonish the graphics looked at that presentation they had - I was hoping for something more along the lines of Twlight Princess. Still, theres enough time for them to make plenty of improvements.

*Starts dusting off his Wii*

Del, please remember this is before OoT. They will be stuck with the creation of the Master Sword. I think the gameplay will be better than the graphics, since they'll be using the WiiMotionPlus for swordplay. Overall I am very excited.

Not so sure about certain controls for the game personally, but like the idea. Surely isn't going to keep me from getting the game.

lol the Zelda games are always fun. the twilight princess was the best in my opinion, although it was confusing at times, like the sea floor dungeon. but im not going to hesitate to buy the newest zelda game.

Best Zelda is still Ocarina, then Twilight Princes, and at the very end is Zelda II for NES.

I've been playing Twilight Princess lately, and it makes me want to play Skyward Sword soooo badddddllllyyyyyy! Ocarina Of Time is my second favorite Zelda after TP. I have Spirit Tracks, and it is pretty fun. OOT and MM are on virtual console for Wii, but I have only done the first dungeon in MM. I don't really like the "3 Days Time Limit" thing.... anyway, SS looks like it will totally be awesome!

I also grew up with Zelda, but sadly am not getting this game because of "Wind Waker Graphics" and because it's on the Wii which I generally don't play.

I really want it. At first I called it "Skynard Sword", so that's what I'm calling it. I love how you can shoose the direction of the spin attack (even doing a verticle spin attack)

I actually liked Wind Waker. It was rather piratey.

I don't know much about those games, except for the youtube videos.

Zelda is my favorite video game series!!!! I didn't know they planned the new one yet!!! Thanks for the update!! Hope it rocks like they usually do!!

OOH OOH ME!!!!!!!! I played Twilight Princess and instantly became addicted, even more to it that POTCO. I cant wait for it. I loved the game. Especially because of all the thinking involved in it.

Also, Star Wars The Force Unleashed II comes out in October I hear.... :)

Game looks great, can't wait to use the Wii Remote to control Links sword.

First game I got in Legend of Zelda was probably OoT for gamecube, came with master quest that a friend gave me pretty much free.
Got majora's mask for 64 and loved that game besides the 3 day time.
Have Wind Waker, something weird happened and can't get to the Wind Dungeon near the end so had to start all over.
Twilight Princess (GC) was great, loved the boss fights especially.

Got the 1st and 3rd zelda games on my Wii, Minish Cap on the gameboy which is pretty fun, and Spirit Tracks which I like, but the whole train thing especially gets boring. Also rented Four Swords Adventure for the gamecube several times.

Legend of Zelda games are awesome, despite what i've heard about the 2nd game, can't wait for Skyward Sword
