Playing while Disconnected
 

When I exited Fort Charles, it said Your internet connection to the servers has been broken. But I found that I could still move my character around without closing the message (on the map.) Then, I went up to a Dinghy, opened the dialog box, pressed Escape, and BAM! the graphics for Port Royal showed up. I went over and sliced at a Cadet just for fun. He was invincible. Well, anyway there isn't much to do when you're disconnected except stare at the still players and hack at invincible enemies that don't do anything, but it was pretty cool. I'll try to get some screenshots up soon next time this happens.

I always hated that bug. It almost always happens to me during invasions. I never knew you could still move after the disconnected pop-up appeared, which is interesting.

I dont know but I just get booted all the time when I got a GOOD plunder with a few chests or when im doing a treasure map and working on quests.

Not only can you move, you can type too, it won't show up though. I know this from being dc while mid-sentence several times and you can finish the senetence, just can't post it.

Alot of crashing has been going on lately. Don't know why but Disney will fix it.

Yeah, I noticed more often crashed, but I never knew you can actually play pirates offline! The crashes became more often after all the updates. But I didn't know you can actually dismiss the crash like a message.

I've had this happen to me. As for not seeing chat, the emote always show up.

can you sink ships?

Yeah, I've had some people tell me in-game that it's on my end (wifi router) which could be part of it, but it has happened much more recently, so I think it's more on their end than mine. I have alps hears that many other players have had the same problems since the update. The crashes always seem to come at the worst times.... Guild meetings, about to defeat jolly, skull chest drops.... Etc.

ya i get the crash a few times i dont think i have tried to move my pirates yet though i do know when u r typeing and it cuts u off it will let u finish but not send it so its like aww come on but oh well lol maybe next time i can play and maybe crash ill try it

This also has been known since early potco i even have took my doll out and disconnected atuned someone then steped back to my original spot and they never see you move but when the connection picks back up they will be attuned there are countles things i could say you could do with it but no more fire needed im sure they will take a closer look now because you can use it in svs to pass people reapeatedly without them able to see your ship till the connection picks back up you can milk about 2 tto 4 seconds of invisability so to speak and many other things but thats all i have to say about that...
