Teleporting Option.

While it is really nice to have the teleport option, it gets aggravating when others randomly teleport without asking you first. Sometimes I just want to do things by myself or with someone in particular.

Having an on/off type system with teleporting would be awesome!

Or just have the ability to confirm the teleport. With the ability to turn that option off if you really don't care.

I don't mind random teleports from certain people, but other people on my list I would prefer to ask first. Some people I've met randomly friend me, and I pretty much give them a 3 strikes teleporting rule before they're gone. It would be different if they actually spoke once they come.. but they just teleport for the sake of teleporting.

High-Five!
It would be so nice to be able to turn down an unexpected teleport.
I will NEVER master my grenades, with these random TPer's. :psmiley35:

I think I like the ability to confirm is a great idea, better even! And I agree completely. There is some people I don't want to teleport to me while others are fine.

I have to disagree because they are your friends and guild mates don't want them to teleport then just remove them.

Crestshot 08-05-2010 07:44 AM

I have to disagree with the disagree. I'm going to compare this to real life.

I'm sitting at home, minding my own business, perhaps taking a shower or making dinner and then BANG! In walks me mate just strolling through my front door all nonchalant and says "Hey there Crest" while I have a knife in my hand from cutting up the carrots for my soup. Yah, that's how I see that. It's a matter of respect. My friends should ring the doorbell, and I should be able to choose whether or not to let them in. It's the same thing with approving a teleport.

Well this is gameplay not real life so I still have to disagree last time I checked there where no houses or showers in the caribbean. Still if they bother you remove them from your friends list or something. :piratewheelgo2:

I personally find it more annoying to have people ask me if they can tp every 5 minutes, but i can understand why its annoying to have random people tp to you. Sometimes you just want to be alone.

She meant more of an example of the rudeness, for others to better understand what it seems like.

Jason - I agree! It is annoying to have people ask if they can teleport, especially when it's a lot!

Crestshot - Good scenario! ;D

Titanic - I understand what ya mean, but I want to keep those people on my friends list. It's just the teleporting can get annoying. Plus I have a lot of guild mates that will teleport to me randomly. It's not that I don't like them - just they need to ask!
