Pirates on the iPad?

Would you think it would be a good idea if there was a Pirates Online app for the iPad?

Two letters... NO

Sven Osymthe 07-26-2010 02:48 AM

I voted no as well. There's no reason to have it, and it would be a complete waste of their time. They need to focus on other things.

If they made something in the future that would be like the leaderboards or something.. maybe that would be okay. But it's still not needed.

If they made an app it shouldn't be limited to the Ipad, it should be avaliable to the Ipod Touch and Iphone to! I don't think they should, I think they should focus on the game!

Pirates have issues with regular Macs as it is. Now add another Apple product to have issues with.

Well I went to a store that had best buy so I looked up pirates online and it says you have to have adobe but you cant download adobe on a ipad. Yet...

They have a game for the iPod Nano....

Matthew Sternrage 07-26-2010 02:48 PM

POTCO would cause many problems for the IPad. Like:
Not enough space for a big game.
connection to a computer to access the internet on the IPad (For some)
Constant recharging if wireless internet.
Confusing way to move, and attack.

In conclusion, Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean Online should not play on the Apple IPad.

two words
bad idea.

titanic95594 09-06-2010 06:25 AM

Well since it runs on flash player it will not work and maybe never will. Why? The CEO of flash player and steve jobs HATE each other for some reason.

Tiberius Fireskull 09-06-2010 05:24 PM

As TSC said, POTCO has enough problems on macs. It will never work on an iPad. I dont even want them to try. There will be too many problems.... maybe a Cannons of the Deep app. Unless there already is.

I use my intel mac with snow leopard and it works great. Used to have problems with power PC mac, but I think they fixed the problem on the newer macs.

Tiberius Fireskull 09-06-2010 06:59 PM

True, but the lack of a right mouse button can make playing difficult.

whiskey 09-06-2010 07:45 PM

Not only do I think it a good idea, I would pay an additional subscription fee to play it on my Ipad.

WilliamHelmmonk 09-06-2010 08:24 PM

Actually you can set the right mouse button in system preferences... that's what I do.
