I think i know when the kraken is coming out.
 

Ok so lets all pretend were disney people ok? what good date would it be good for to release the kraken? Not in the middle of the summer,nah lets just make a fishing game leading up to sea monsters.

OK as i was saying If you were a game desiner when would you put out the kraken?

Think, if they do that at the beggining then word gets out that the kraken is coming,you know were im going here?

The Kraken will come out when it fits into the story...

I don't see them releasing anything just because it's the beginning of the school year. They would have been better off releasing it at the beginning of Summer.

As far as money making, releasing anything at the beginning of the school year won't make you much money. Why? Because kids are in school, and most of their parents would rather have them focusing on school, getting a good education.

If you want to make a lot of money, you spend a few thousand dollars(most likely more) on a few awesome commercials promoting your game. At the end of it, you show the Kraken, and get people excited. But what would this do for the beginning of the school year? Nothing. Kids will go play POTCO when their parents see they have good grades, and are working hard.

The kids are targeted by Disney the most as far as POTCO. Summer, is the key time to get a game running.

Disney is either going to get this game back up and running now, or let it die a little bit and wait until December, for vacation, or next summer. They don't have a lot of time.

Summer is when you'll get thousands, possibly millions, of players if you release some amazing things. It's common sense that kids will get to play more over the summer, and Disney is losing the chance at more money.

It's now, or next year for them. The Kraken has taken too long. The second story quest has taken too long. They're a billion dollar company, and they do nothing with this game. They're lazy, and need to spend more money on this game. This game could be making them billions, like the game Farmville does for the company Zynga.

But will they? Nope, because they're Disney. They're a theme park/movie company, not a game company.

But because they've done such a "good" job at getting our money and attention in the game industry, and are promoting it so much on tv and online, why aren't they moving faster? They do make tons of money, so why aren't things sped up just a little bit? Most online games update more often than not, but Disney seems to lack that key ingredient to keep their players. IDK, hopefully something comes soon.

IMO, I don't even care if the kraken comes out. Just another thing for us to do for three days, get bored, and complain that D never gives us anything. I don't blame Disney that these updates aren't exactly "satisfactory", I blame ourselves.
