I was wondering how you get more reputation, how you deserve it and also how to get more of those bottles.

You get more reputation by hitting this on a post http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...reputation.gif . You can't give yourself rep though, you can only give to others.

Whether you deserve rep or not is up to those reading your posts. The more rep you have, the more bottles you get. I only have two, but I have 186 rep. A mod could probably give you more info on how much rep you need for bottles.

I don't get it, on user cp it says I have fifteen points, but I do have a bottle. If you only need 15 points per bottle then Sven would have 12. Unless you need more rep for each bottle like notoriety in the game, but I'm just confused.

I'm hoping Batleth or another one of the mods could come and answer our questions here.

Your first bottle is a gimme! From there, you gain a bottle for each 100 mark. I have 487 rep points, and therefor have 5 bottles.

1 free, 1 at 100, another at 200, etc.

The number of bottles you have also increases the amount of rep you give when you give rep to another person.

A few poeple abuse the system. To help prevent this, you cannot give rep to the same person over and over. This stops 2 people from just giving each other tons of rep.

Hey and when you add to someones reputation how many points does it add?

Depends on how much rep you have. Could be 1, 5 or if they have a ton 100. YOu never know.

I don't know the exact scale factor for how much rep you give. I do know that it starts at 1, and for each bottle you have, it goes up. I think I give 13 or 15 rep points each time I give rep, and I have 5 bottles.
